Twice I've gone into the catacombs, killed bandits, and come back and found identical copies of said bandits standing right where the old one was, next to what seems to be their own corpse.  You guys think this is a glitch?

You misspelled seance.  Are possessing Draignean?  Are you actually a ghost in the shell? You have to tell us if you are, that's the rule

I've a task to kill someone that guides me to a part of the city where nobody is...

should I go to a sewer access and try to reach it underground?

I've noticed this happening too. I doubt it could be intentional, so most certainly a bug.

I had this problem too very recently. I actually found my target right under the city's keep. Try hunting there or in temple catacombs, perhaps.

Can I use the old texture packs for the new version of DF? Also, does anyone know if any/which of the lazy newb pack's utilities will work with the new version of DF? Thanks

Hmm, has anyone seen dwarf sized items for sale in town yet? I've been to two towns, neither of which have metal armor or weapon shops. There is an abundance of leather armor and clothing stores, and from what I've seen none of the stock is dwarf sized despite a good portion of the city being composed of dwarves/elves.

As far as I know, only human-sized items are made in human settlements, regardless of what races their population consists of.

How do I get un-thirsty as a vampire? Do I have to drink the blood of a specific race?

Wait until some people go to sleep in their house, stand near them and press 'e' and drink straight from them. Should fill you up more than licking blood off of your clothes/weapons or the floor.

Also, does anyone know how to tell when the full moon is? I'm going to try to get bitten by a werecreature (hopefully he's not a werekoala... as those apparently exist in my world.)

Do you mean tilesets?  It looks like Ironhand and Phoebus already released a quick update to be compatible with this version.  Mayday released something as well, but I know he switched to a mostly ASCII-based set recently, so I don't know if his thing is like the old set or new set.

So no one has found any shops with bags/waterskins or the like?  I usually stuff loot I'm going to sell in bags to keep better track of them, but I can't find a place to buy them.  There's tons and tons of food, bone carvers, and clothing shops though.  Haven't seen any metal armor, and only 1 weaponsmith and that guy only had silver weapons. :( (Bought a sword for fighting werewolves though).

Even in the previous version, towns only sold human-sized stuff.  Dorfs have to kill and loot goblins and elves for armor.

That is an insane and dangerous plan.  I approve wholeheartedly.

If you hit 'W' (Capital) while the moon is up, it will tell you what phase it is, in addition to some other weather related stuff. Also, brotip, the "waxing gibbous" phase comes just before full.

It's possible to be a werecreature? The moon cycles with adventure mode too?

You can only eat or drink so much at a time. You'll have to wait for a little while before you can do either again.

Pretty sure it is. I'll be trying it at some point.

I have a question about eating... does it effect the adventurer's description, eg, weight gain and all that?

Do traveling companions eat now, too? I seem to remember recruiting "extremely skinny" soldiers and as time passed during travels they all become "belarded with untold layers of fat" or something to that effect and it was attributed to them never being hungry.

I found a guide that show how to beat a zombie army, it's called : "Benny hill".  :P

(Run around the tower, wait for a zombie to be alone, repeat.)
