Okay, I really do think I'm either in a catacomb or sewer, and I don't think the sarcophagi, coffins, and ritualistically mounted peasant bodies suggest that this is a sewer. 

So how do I awaken the mummies?  Or will something else happen?

My forest is completely covered in blood.  At first, when I saw a long streak of blood following my Woodcutter, I was like "Oh shit, did the undead chickens attack him?!"  Nope.   This totally makes up for not being able to use Dwarf Therapist, although I look greatly foward to it's update.

My previous fort was plagued enough by them, but at least you could brawl the shit out of those. I think these gigasuckers would drain any dorf dumb enough to face them, since they're BIGGER THAN GODDAMN GRIZZLY BEARS. I shall just try to wait out the swarm, because 108 giant mosquitoes aren't going to die any time soon. Or actually, they'll die in a year, but that's still a while off.

Embarked in terrifying biome prepared to tear my fun out of hundreds undead hands. Looks like I'm out of luck on that and it's simply evil one. Also got acid slime rain shat myself and sent everyone underground, then it turned out the only effect of the rain is dizzyness. Dangit. At least completely red outdoors looks good.
As for mosqitoes, maybe one should delete them from raws for time being?

Also yeah, probably going to remove them mosquitoes rather shortly. Dunno if the vermin ones lag, but the giant ones certainly do.

They explode when you remove their [FLIER] tag. :'D

I don't forsee this fort surviving much longer.  I'm down three war dogs (haven't reanimated -yet-), one starting dwarf (planter), and I've so far been attacked by undead horse hair, undead horse head hair (presumably from the undead horse hair), undead horse skin, and numerous undead ravens.

I can just imagine the empty skin of a horse attacking someone.  My god that would be creepy.  I've also had the first taste of the missing persons deal, where a war dog was killed inside a room and found dead once someone went inside the room.

Edit: And my dwarf just reanimated.  XD

I've only had one rain, so I'll tell you as time goes on if I get other types of rain.
