Dwarf Fortress: The only game where people will hold a logical discussion about why dwarves are putting on clothes.
OK, I have to reload the save.
There was a bit of a problem regarding flashfreezing, a ballistae, and a barrel of dwarven ale. Gonna fix it up.

There is a finely-engraved image of Ascimator on the wall. Ascimator is slapping himself in the face. The artwork relates to the loss of the only anvil in Perplextombs in the late winter of 6.

...And many set off from their respectful homesteads in search of glory and adventure, for new dangers were discovered; tombs of ancient kings and mages unearthed; towers that stretched to the stars above, rising from strange foundations. Many would search and learn, many would die a horrid death: for the lands were steeped in evil and blood, the dead return angry and lustful for vengeance and retribution; magic, though shunned and held as abominable was now practiced amongst the more cunning and destitute of creatures.

For even the children of the Earth; the Dwarves, were not excluded from the terrors of the world. Tales of corpses found dry in the well-guarded halls, calls of the dead resounding in the crypts, those of the long fang coming when the moon rises high in the heavens and accusations amongst the peasantry of who was a child of the darkness ran rampant in many a place. There was much to learn, and much more to discover, before the world fell into darkness and shadow.

Couldn't help but write that.

I'm loving all the changes here, a few strange quirks in adventure mode, but still looking great! Thanks Toady One and staff, again!
