"Well, for now we're at least mildly safe, so we should focus on getting as much done as we can, and then burn this place down and move on. I think we should start by going to the lake to get some water, and possibly fish. Did you notice anything weird about the people in the town?"

"They did look like people, right?" she joked, "No soldiers or spies and shady smiles?"

I suppose, if we had the means, we could move those crates onto the roof in order to create a vantage point. A limited one, but a great boon nonetheless. You can think on that, I'll be on the roof.

Bruce uses the beam as a support as he tunnels into the hillside above the shelter, however, he's running out of places to put the dirt he digs out.
