Left handed here, but I play with my right hand thanks to most computers being right-handed biased.

I'm now fairly used to it and can play FPSes well, though I use my left hand when I need to draw nicely.

So yeah, use yer off hand!

Cataclysm is a good game, by the way, the only problem is that it uses the shift key quite a lot.
