Urist McPlantGatherer cancles Gather Plants: Interrupted by Zombie Turkey Gobbler.

Most annoying mesage ever.

You clearly haven't embarked in a place with buzzards or vultures.

Nope. But I have had SKELETAL FUCKING ELEPHANTS.

I seem to recall a certain story involving skeletal elephants. Andmandrills. And caravans being reduced to bloody paste by an elaborate drawbridge trap.

Buzzards = Worse than skeletal elephants. You can kill elephants.

That's just horrifying. It's like, two scary nightmare inducing things for a dwarf, rolled into one. Enough to drive a dwarf to commit suicide on the spot.

Course, my MorningDaggers has a DEATHGOD. Which would explain the events in the original 40D version of it. Oh, that place was a nightmare. Took 2 hippo's to destroy my "fortress'. And a ton of reclaims later, nothing but death and insanity. I need to get the log's out of that. It's quite the obit to look at.

It might be 3.21.

But even if it was 3.25, I only have 2 water-buffalo available. I ran short on points for myself while preparing.

Most zombies isn't too hard to deal with due to their fleshiness and slow speed. It is the sceletal stuff you should be really afraid of. Like the giant sceletal capybears that I have. so much dwarf blood!

I once had a pit. Migrants, animals, seigers. All where dropped into the pit. Fifteen by fifteen, it stood outside the fort, waiting. A gigantic "A pool of ect blood" message was the main discription of the pit. Dragon, elf, goblin, every creature is buchered equaly in Clearwater.

Can skeletal/zombie syndrome carrying animals transmit their poisons/diseases? I imagine skeleton/zombie helmet snakes/GCS/GDS...those are real terrors! (and those are a lot of slashes/itallic |'s)

It's treated as completely normal because this is Dwarf Fortress.  There's absolutely nothing wrong with surrounding yourself with a wall of flames, only to later realize that you're surrounded by a wall of flames.
There's nothing that can't be solved by hurling fifteen roc birds at it.

On Topic: Woul'd hack and slash be best for rotting carcasses and blunt for bones?

Off-topic-ish Just an odd question, did anyone know a fish disecctor with no combat skills could  beat a zombie minotaur?

Are those zombies who gobble turkeys?
Or unspecified beings who gobble zombie turkeys?

That's almost as bad as Lesbian Vampire Killers...

Why couldn't my vampire Hammerer eat someone useless, like a migrant? Instead, she went after my only gemcutter.. but sadly there were no witnesses, so I convicted someone's pet duck as the murderer.  It got off easy, with no beatings or jail time.  >.<
