Could anyone spoil me? What's so special on the other, more scarier version? The one that wasn't based on the article over at the wiki?
I hate to say it, but the new version relies A LOT more on jump scares. However, the first version had basically two things that would make you jump: the shadows, and SCP-087-1.

It's slightly more maze-like, for one thing. Seems to be a few more visual scares as well, plus voice acting from your "handler" at the SCP Foundation.

Fanofgaming, thanks for taking one for the team. I have to admit I bust out laughing when you began singing "my little pony". The new version actually looks scarier than the stairs version.

So... Does nobody else have the issue of the windows mouse arrow being visible on top of the image in the first version? It's really distracting and I don't want to play it until I fix it.
Unless it's supposed to be there and I'm missing something...?

It's more that I was scared of what I suspected might follow the radio static. More of the bloody eyes, unknown horrors, yadda yadda.

Challenge accepted!

Sorry if I can't write anything that makes sense right now. I played it for a while then I started to look a bit sideways so I can see farther. Soon this turned into looking directly at the wall and always turning left. Suddenly I saw the monster and it doesn't do anything. After that I keep my eyes almost closed, peeking just a little so I can see enough of the wall to keep going left but I stop noticing any level signs after 19. When I blindly run into the monster and it kills me I'm probably at level 20-22. I played pony version and that Pinkie Pie scared the hell out of me. My original plan was rush forward but I had to stop few times to collect strenght to keep on going. I made some crazy faces while playing and sweat a lot on my keyboard. Fun experience, but I removed all traces of the game after that one try, I'm not playing that again. I consider my quest success, I don't care if you can proceed further, it was enough for me that I didn't quit until die.
