You walk about as fast as a turtle. You have to go down seven floors before the clown car gets opened. Then you might randomly die at any point during the rest of the game. If you die, you get to start at floor one.

Yeah, the videos don't look all that creepy. Perhaps they don't have the right atmosphere, but I was laughing at the recorder freaking out more than I was scared.

Just finished the original, after... 40 minutes, maybe? I don't really know. At the first instance of anything, I was scared; past that, I gave a mental "fuck you" every time, without much reaction. Much more terrifying than the jumps is the fact that I could not bring myself to turn around; I couldn't do anything but keep moving forward. Amazing "game"; I'll see the newer one soon enough.

I sure hope this doesn't involve a pink ball of energy with an addiction to cupcakes and knives. Would be to cliched.

Your current mood REALLY changes the way you see the game.

If you are happy and feel ballsy and cool, you will skip through it, maybe cringe a little and say that it's a bullshit.

If you are for some reason sad, in some "sensitive" mood or have some creepy thoughts, this game will definitely get you.

And of course to fully experience it, you should be in your "after bedtime" biotime state, not sleepy but with weird thoughts and feelings creeping in your head; and it would be great if it's a night time.


Of course because of everything above some people are very unlikely to get scared at all, while others will definitely be (to the point of being unable to "finish" the game and giving up).

I've tried it myself just for fun. At 5 AM after some walk in the night I could barely watch the LP of this game. A day later, around 2 PM, I've played it through with a grin.

It's not really a game, it looks more like a program for psychological tests. It could be fun to run a research using this program on a group of different individuals in different time periods. And it shows how different a human brain reaction may be to unknown input.
