It may take days for one player to move, so no rush at all.

Of were going to suggest maps now...

That map is obscenely large. I want to play on it. However, people should be prepared to be playing this map for years. :P

And this map has so any chokepoints, it could be a stalemate even with the airports.

That's why I <3 Kanbei. The extra 10% cost is always worth it. And that cash I'm saving, it's for a lander :D Then a horde of med tanks...

Not like it matters, you only delayed me from getting that city. Plus, I think I've caused you more (monetary) damage than you've caused me. (3 turns at 1000 each (from city), a mech at 3000, and 600 from the infantry versus 4 damage on your tank (3360) and your recon (4800)).

grumble mumble stupid overpowered yellow comet jerk grumble mumble oh, the cash is for a lander. Alright, I can handle that. I think Kanbei is actually 20% more expensive, but 30% stronger in this version. My mech and your tank were evenly matched in terms of bonus damage and defense, so I was surprised at how ineffectual it actually was.

Well, we're looking at a 14 player map right now - the Europe one. There's also another nice looking 14 player map I found - South-east Asia - http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=52427. I just am not sure if people actually want to start a 14 player map. (This 8 player one also looks neat - http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=4481). I think these ones might need some custom settings - perhaps no COs with full-map damage effects just so things don't get ridiculous?

That said, since it seems like people are interested, I might set up a 4 player map with the same sort of settings as I've done before (incl. password) and then leave, so it's available for 4 new players. I'm thinking this one - http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=20218 - this one - http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=15470 - or this one - http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=20361 - but since I'm not going to be participating I don't want to just pick the map in a vacuum.

Sami's infantry/mech units have a 30% attack boost. Kanbei gets a 30% attack AND defense boost. Depending on which version ofcourse. If it's Dual Strike level, then it's just 20% boost to both attack and defense. I believe it is dual strike level.
Also yes, Kanbei is 20% more expensive, and yes, ALSO my faviroute CO to use. My friends banned me from using him after a while :P
