Why do our times not coincide well Kashyyk? XD

It looks like everyone is getting into this game - I think McDreich is going to get a lander out this turn, for example, and Kashyyk looks like he's sending a tank after me.

So this is obviously the perfect time to bring up a possible future map - I think this map http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=32806 might work for a good 4p FFA fog-of-war map. This map is partially predeployed, with the latter two players getting an infantry as a sort of counter to going last. Lots of reefs and forests, and all construction properties are represented.

Also, I edited in the player list/time zones into the OP, although I don't think it'll matter much. Hopefully everyone has email notifications for their turns enabled.

Alrighty, my turn is done. I was in two minds over the lander, but decided to go for it. Interesting, I thought Kashyyk was going to use that tank on me, but looks like he wants to keep us guessing :P

Alright, I should be un-busy by tommorow.

I'll see if I can sign up tonight for the eight-player game.

Boo.  Why does it have to use port 8080?

Anyone tried to play by phone?

Anyone tried to play by phone?

Funny you should mention that, as I just finished my latest turn on my phone. Then again, it's an Android phone and I was connected to WiFi, not a 3G-type connection, so your mileage may vary. When it's your turn, you get an email that points you directly to the game (even logging you in automatically), so that might work even if navigating the site manually might not.

You probably will need to zoom in a lot, though, otherwise you will make stupid mistakes like I just did with that one infantry. Hopefully that won't haunt me later.

Edit: The 8 player game has now started. I've updated the OP with the player info that I know and all that jazz. Since we don't appear to have a limit on number of consecutive games, if anyone else wants to start a smaller game/their own game and wants advertising in the OP, I'll be happy to help.

--- Breaking news! ---

Blue Moon Declares war on Yellow Comet!

The arms race has reached a new height as Commander Kashyyk led the Moonians on an attack on the Cometese force under Logical2u. It's only a matter of time before Green Earth and Orange Star follow suit!

In other news, McDreich has completed his turn. :)

Transmission from CO Lash...

That said, Kanbei's tank was tougher than I thought it would be. And I don't think I want to know what Kashyyk could be saving up his money for.

I think a 14 player Europe map would be absolutely hilarious to play on, but I was thinking we finish the 8 player map first.

That said, it's 14 players - we have about 9 here now, I think, so if you want to set it up and start recruiting that would be fine with me.
