Settlers Of Catan (book)

I just finished reading the Settlers Of Catan book. Anyone else?

It makes you really want to play Dwarf Fortress & Settlers. I wont say any spoilers to ruin the book for anyone, but it's a pretty good read if your into Dwarf Fortress. Obviously people set sail to settle new lands and have to farm, woodwork, blacksmith, all that fun stuff. Only bad thing I would say is not enough fighting/battles and too much love. If you're searching for a new book, try it out! If you've never played Settlers of Catan, get it today! Again, if you like Dwarf Fortress you'll enjoy the board game. The book was good though, at a lot of levels from simple survival to deep religious conflicts.

What a strange thing to write a book about.

If the book was based on my games, it would mostly be full of sexual innuendos and people yelling "SHEEP FOR WOOD.  I GOT YER SHEEP FOR WOOD HERE!"

I remember trying to play the game against AI opponents. Too bad they absolutely refuse to trade with you no matter what unless the trade is stacked ridiculously in their favor.

I never learnt how to play this game. I wanted to but I never gave it the time.
