The fact that, despite just about everyone thinking it's a good idea for ages, it has somehow yet to happen. Absolutely absurd in my book.

Also, why does it sound like Genghis Khan only ever had male descendants throughout a lineage spanning hundreds of years?

Oh, he had female descendants, but they were so much more manly than most men that historians retconned them as men to avoid embarrassing themselves.

Well we're certainly going to have to change that. This whole "killing each other for stupid reasons that hardly matter in the long run" thing has been harshing my mellow for quite some time now.

What I'm wondering is, should the world's nuclear programs be removed? Because I mean... Sure the world is more peaceful with them, but it's still not world peace :/

My reasoning is that in a world without nuclear weapons, if one country was insane enough to use one in the first place, they'd be nuts enogh to use it in a world with about 9001 nukes pointing at them. And stupid reasons can make core beliefs :/

Well, since nuclear weapons essentially amount to the typical military dick-waving contest writ large, we should have symbolic nuclear war whenever two nuclear powers confront each other. Each side launches a predetermined number of ICBMs at Mars, and whoever makes the biggest crater wins.

Yes, they should be removed. The general hazards, on top of the massive destruction their products are capable of, are far too dangerous to be in the hands of average people who just happen to be in a "position of power". Though it would have to be a very careful and gradual thing. Then again, Flying Dice's idea sounds pretty cool, too.

A thing that tends to irritate me is the fact that, despite whatever stupid thing a world leader does, it's that person who is one of the last to pay for it. It's the ignorant soldiers who are murdered, and the prisoner citizens who are obliterated, most of which had nothing to do with their ruler's decision(apart from allowing them to go through with it, of course). It's like a fucked up game of chess, really.

I'd say it's a messed up version of Hannibal chess, where everyone thinks they're the player. It's a bit messed up. And what's worse is the alternatives would generally make things EVEN WORSE D:

What about a world where everyone is forced to be interdependent of each other? Slightly better than M.A.D, if a bit more exploitable...

Everyone is already interdependent of each other, to an extent. No human can survive for very long on their own(Hell, hardly any earthly creature can survive very long completely on their own). The problem is that, people seem to have a bad habit of gladly fucking themselves over, so long as someone they don't like is fucked over even more. If interdependency was forced any more than it should be, it would only take one crazy mofo who just so happens to play a very vital role in the structure threatening to bring the whole thing down if everyone doesn't do as he says. Then fear takes over and we're back at square one. 

I'm starting to feel like a broken record on account of how many times I've explained this to people, but it would seem that the only way to break the cycle, is for everyone to, in fact, become more independent.

If everyone spoke the same language, shared the same government and were part of a union = more peace already

Well we don't want to eliminate the rich cultures or general diversity of humanity, as it is that variance itself which makes humanity so interesting. It is unlikely that everyone will always agree on everything(without destroying the beauty and wonder of humanity, at least). People just need to realize that just because they disagree with someone, doesn't mean they have to hate/kill them(A.K.A. start thinking and stop being fucking stupid).

In other words, greater level of general intelligence=greater level of peace.
