Well, I can definitely go later as well. I think we'll watch Boys Don't Cry, so I'll change the poll to a timevote.

So far I'm thinking 7:00 PDT. How many people (who will post below) absolutely cannot make that time?

Sorry for the triple post, but my batshit crazy teacher has once more changed the schedule at the last second. How many people can watch at at 7:00 PDT (GMT -7) today? If that doesn't work, I can try again next week with a different film.

I can't. Wednesday's always a work night for me. Pity. Are you able to archive it, perchance? I could catch the recording.

Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Wolfram Alpha says PDT is GMT-8. Either way, I'm frigging low on sleep this week, so I'm unlikely to be there.

I am going to have to do such a balancing act to make it,  but I will do it, at least for the first 2 hours. Thank Gog for time zones. Thank ye for the reminder.

Sorry for the double post, but bumping here is deliberate. What's the stream address?

Well, that was absolutely terrifying and all-around a horrific experience. Next week, we're going with a happy film. The class requirement is to find an indie film by a female director. Options below, I'll fix the poll soon.

Lost in Translation, The Virgin Suicides, Thirteen, You and Me and Everyone We Know, Thirteen Conversations About One Thing, Personal Velocity, Whale Rider, Monsoon Wedding, The Notorious Betty Page, Sherry Baby, Come Early Morning, Red Road, The Prize Winner of Defiance Ohio, The Dead Girl, Puccini for Beginners, The Namesake, Away From Her, Things We Lost in the Fire, The Savages, Waitress, Stop-Loss, Frozen River, Hump Day, Julie and Julia, The Hurt Locker, Winter's Bone, or The Kids are All Right.

It was really tough to watch... a lot of that was too familiar for comfort. Still, despite that, it was a good film to have seen, and I feel like a better person for having seen it. Thanks for sharing it, and I'm looking forward to something a bit lighter next week!
