The horse halts, stopping just as fast as it was running. The hooded man gets off his stead and ties him to the post. The hooded man is in front of a tavern called "Four Clovers". He steps inside and looks around. He walks towards the Barkeep and while doing so, he un-hoods himself, revealing a well built man. He is Human, and he looks as that of the age of 35. He calls the barkeep over. Barkeep: "How can I help ye?" Man: "hello, yes. I am Sir William, from the Empire of Bane" "I was wondering if you could tell me the whereabouts of a group called ""The Four"", The king requires their services" The barkeep waves Sir William into the back room. Sir William hesitates and then follows. In the backroom are Four Hooded Shadows, they all turn as Sir William enters. They look at each other then one asks "What do you want?" Sir William is shocked by how loud the voice is, then proceeds "Yes, um. I am Sir William and I come from the Empire of Bane" "The king requires your services, there is an important quest he needs done." The Four say in unison "What does the king want?"

Sir william is taken aback, then refirms himself. "He needs help with the downfall of the rival Kingdom, The Fiery Flames of Agot.

The four look at eachother, then proceed to un-hood, showing who they are.

Sir William gasps, then smiles briefly.

Hello and welcome to "The Four". This game is based on nothing but my mind. Now, who are the four, where did they come from? Well, we will find out when you, the player, create your one of the four.

Name: Daniel Greywinde.
Gender: Male.
Race: Human.
Backstory: A son of a noble, Daniel wanted to break from tradition. He fled the manor to train to become a paladin. He suceeded, and became a traveller, roaming the world to help those in need.

A tall lean man of 25. with grey eyes like steel and dark brown hair. He is dedicated to the assistance of the oppressed. His accent says he is a northerner, from the major city of Greywinde, named for his ancestors. He is a born soldier, skilled in combat, and charismatic when need be.

Backstory: A dark-haired, violet-eyed, tan-skinned woman who stays hidden in the shadows of her dark purple robes at all times. Her origins are unknown, but judging from her accent and appearance she's likely from far-away lands.

Backstory:Somewhat old by human standards, Johann makes up for it with half a lifetime of experience and knowledge.  His devotion to the One True God has bolstered his will, and gives him a sense of purpose.  Life in a hard monastery has also strengthened his body, enabling him to perform feats of might and combat which others wouldn't expect from a simple priest.

Name: Tari Nandelin

Back story: Tari is young for her looks, though considered of age by most of her kin. A woman with light complexion and brown colored hair, she stands at ease with a stature of a warrior. If she was trying to look weak and unfit for labor, it may be apparent, judging by the sleekness of her body.

She was born to a middle-class family in some isolated hamlet, nothing much to say other than her love for travel and danger.

I'm loving how balanced the party is.  Also, Elf Collaborator, our stats are pretty similar.  Considering we're both holy men, that is quite the coincidence.

(Well, you were first, and i dont think having an Archmage as a leader would work very well since he isnt really in the fight, so your leader.((I based it off of Charisma )) And whoever said you had to negotiate? )
