"Hm. That could be a problem. Higher beings shouldn't need to settle for such poor conditions. If you can hide for a few days, perhaps I could 'convince' the humans to repair the tower for you?"

(I meant to donate the remaining roasted rabbits to the poor, but I don't mind donating the money also, just edit the rabbits in as an addition)

A) Morgan raised a finger to his lips to indicate silence. He pointed toward the bushes to let her know where he was going, then picked up his halberd and creeped toward them... and when he was close enough, he stabbed into the foliage!

You hear a pitiful sound, and as you withdraw your weapon, you see a small orange with white striped kitten impaled.

"You... Why did you do that?" asks Ciena.
The kitten looks at you sadly.

The paladin stops pushing.

"Yeah, but becareful, because that guy is preparing-"

Arnois blasts them.

Two fall down in pain. The other guy evades completely.

He makes a shimmering serrated blade out of force an starts cutting into the contraption.
It starts separating.

Aelis (A)Stop backpedaling. Notch an arrow and ready it for when my vision has fully returned.

(I just knew that if I did nothing it would be an enemy and if I attacked it would be harmless... >.>)

A) "Well, I thought it was a threat," Morgan said, drawing his halberd in and plucking the kitten from the end of it. He removed the Life Potion he had picked up from Xan's body and used it on the kitten. He then took the kitten over to Ciena. "So... what do you want to name this kid?" he asked, scratching the kitten behinds its ears. He also checked what gender it was.

(The potion wasn't in my inventory, so I wanted to prove I had one.)

You use a healing potion on the kitten. It comes back to life just a moment before dying of ruptured internal organs.

It seems to be female.

"Umm... Dunno. Kitty?" Ciena seemed to have a slight lack of creativity.

Not a moment too soon, because with a 'keesh' sound, the paladin kicks out his window and jumps out in pursuit of you.

You ready an arrow.
The force blade is jammed, and the thing crawls to Yun.

Your vision is restored (mostly). You fire. 

The arrow buries itself in the spider's innards for 28 critical damage. It emits a poof of blue smoke. The sound of its mechanics working ceases.

A) Morgan laughed and rolled his eyes. "Nah. I think I'll call her Pumpkin." He continued to hold the kitten with one hand while his other dug around inside his pack. "Here you go, Pumpkin." He fed the kitten a scrap of meat. "Listen, you get some rest. I'll keep watch for a bit and then wake you up when it's your turn. You don't have to do anything if you see trouble; just wake me up and I'll handle it, OK? I got some company for now, anyway." He sat with the kitten and played with a bit while waiting for the night to pass...

(Basically just skipping ahead to the next day unless something happens in the night that I need to take care of; if nothing does Morgan'll pick Cienna back up in the morning and keep carrying her toward town where he can find a doctor or hospice or something to take care of her.)
