Monotonous day after monotonous day passed by. During the whole time, Ciena did not get up. Morgan's wounds finished healing. The merchants were feeling relieved at the safety.

Then, disaster struck. Human disaster. A wave of armored soldiers garbed in shiny black and red plate rolled over the hill on horse and on foot. They swirled around, and the leader ordered the merchants to leave everything that didn't fit in their pockets and bags, and to GO.
One bag per person, the vice-leader added.

"Whoa... I'll never mess with an elf again."
Yun half-jokes and grasps Aelis.
"Here we go - warp!"

You are wrenched into another dimension.
You feel like you are being simultaneously pulled apart and compressed, and your vision swims. After what feels like an eternity but also is but a second, you and Yun are dropped on a hard floor.
The cold tile of the dark floor seems to be slippery. The area is dark, and water dripping is heard.
"Dang, I knew I should have used enhanced warp... Where am I?" says Yun.

Aelis gasped, dropping to his knees. He had killed. The spell had only been meant to blind, but he was certain that the soldier who collapsed had not done so because he was still living. No...he had murdered someone before they even had a chance to draw their weapon.
The druid's breath came fast and short, and after a moment he staggered to his feet, hand clasped over his stomach as he took a few steps away from Yun and vomited. This, oddly, cleared his head.

The Elf closed his eyes and took slow, deep breaths. After a moment of this, his breathing was steadied. What was done was done. They likely would have been attacked soon, in any case. Perhaps after this ordeal was through, Aelis would return to cast Resurrection on the soldier. Perhaps.

Yun was talking now. Aelis swallowed. His mouth was dry, but it tasted of bile. "I do not know. Have you any spells that might discern our location?"

"That's no enemy spy. That's one of you. How you should look. I know who turned you from what you were into what you are. It just so happens that we have a common enemy."
(Mind control through manipulation isn't so bad.)

"Yes, I can remove it. It'll take three days and 100 gp worth of ritual spells, and gold doesn't come from nowhere. Unless you find the 'alchemist' guy who says he can use some golden egg thing to transform lead into gold. Fat chance." The dagger slash mage scoffs.

(A) Eh, 3 days means failed quest. Disregard and ask for advice about the thing.

Yun seemed worried.
"You okay...? Umm.. I guess you... killed?"
He fiddled with his portable hole a bit.
"Eh... spells, yes. They'll be in this portable hole, one of my wizardry books. Need to find them... "
He also added, "Aelis, if you want to blind but not harm, next time use concentrated light instead of sunray. The sun hurts. Light doesn't." His voice was kind.

A hissing sound is heard from the dark.

"Uh...is that so? Erm. We do not remember our past. The forerunners who were directly brought here were all killed by those dirt farmers." Their will seems to be weak.
"Are you sure that's how we're supposed to be like? I thought white equaled bad." The creatures talk among themselves.

Some questions might occur : how do they increase their numbers? Was this tower for them, or did they build it/conquer it?

"You haven't answered my second question. Is there a point in removing it?"

A) Luckily, everything Morgan possessed and had looted would fit in one bag, or on his person. He knew better than to mess with a heavily armed force that far outnumbered himself and his allies. So, with his loot/possessions over one shoulder and Ciena over the other (because no way was he leaving her behind with these guys in her condition), he got ready to move on. He probably wasn't getting paid for the escort now, but at least he had some gems he could sell.

"White isn't always bad. Let's change the subject for a bit, though. Would you mind telling me about this tower?"

"Yes, but I would only be able to aim a concentrated light at one of them..." Aelis replied, and then immediately winced upon realizing that he had implied that efficiency was more important than morality. "Regardless, what is done is do-"

He paused, keen ears focusing on the sound.
