- Finish Building the Farm
- Build the Palisade
Your people continue life as usual, and soon have the farm finished, it is not much more then a collection of huts, and fields based around a deep pond not far from the center of your village. It'll come in handy as it also falls within the confines you have planned for the palisade. Elsewhere the palisade goes on just as well as log after log is place into holes dug in the ground, and the dirt is piled up around the base to help hold the solid wall of tree logs up. The week goes by quickly, and nothing out of the ordinary happens as you continue to solidify your place on the island.
As the weeks drag on you find yourself dragging closer to Leaf Fall, and not long after that Winter Night will cover the land, and by that time your people had best have places to sleep, or many shall die from the freezing cold that will fall upon the island. Past that two more weeks crawl by, and the beauty of the wooden palisade can be seen all around the village, and the first harvest of your new farm is reaped, and new seeds sown in their place.
With this done much of your population has jobs to do, leaving you with a scant sixty civilians to continue doing work that you may be done around the village, as well as leaving only sixty men to be recruited, and trained into a military force for your people's protection.
