Find a bunch of huge rats, kill them, use them to summon the giant crab. Proceed to engage in a conversation with giant crab.

Use rats to summon Giant crab, I've used the only rat I had(one killed earier), after a minute of waiting the sounds of wet clicking are close again.

Jump onto the crabs back and smash it's head with the mace.

should be fairly safe, I do believe crabs are unable to reach their backs with their pincers.

The Giant crab's back is slick but clinging to it isnt imposible; the mace becomes one with thhe crab's face, the crab bucks trying to throw me off, but I remain attached.
