Bio: Up until the age of fifteen, Ferra was the third wheel in a family of warriors. Her three brothers, Albert, Alfred and Alheim, were loyal, high-ranking knights for Kushvito's royal guard. As a child, she was distant from Albert and Alheim, but Alfred often skipped training to teach her to defend herself in combat. At the time, she didn't understand why he was giving her lessons in the bow. She just enjoyed the time she got to spend with him.

At fifteen, the first real danger of a civil war unfolded. Ferra's parents, who raised her much less than Alfred had, feared for their child, and urged her to come with them to Rotora. Ferra refused, believing that Albert and Alheim would stop any threat of an uprising. In a matter of days, her parents were packed up and headed to Rotora, whereas Ferra was left behind with Alfred.

The night of the day Ferra's parents left, the uprising began. Albert and Alheim were quickly slaughtered, though Ferra did not find that out until Alfred approached her at her house with the faint light of a torch. He told her he had to go to Althita to meet with a group of people he grew up with, but that she had to cross the border to Rotora and seek shelter. Hidden from the moonlight glimmering on rebel weaponry outside, she agreed and ran as fast as she could out of the Kushvito.

Ferra almost made it to the border. She was so close.

The bandits she encountered took pity on her. Sympathizing with her flight from Kushvito's civil war, they took her in as a hunter. She didn't know how to hunt, of course - not at first. That's something she learned over time. Within the ranks of the bandits she traveled with, she searched for her brother for several months. Word got out that Alfred, along with several other knights, were quickly crossing the border from Kushivito/Rotora after infiltrating the Cosoren guard in Kushivito for some sort of information.

The bandits Ferra traveled with told her no matter how much they cared for her, they would be wasting their lives trying to catch knights on the run from the Cosorens, who were likely steadily following behind. Disappointed by their attitute towards reuniting her with the one person she cared about, she resolved to head to the border for the second time and find Alfred herself. Only problem is, she arrived a little too late...

Traico Mandango

Traico is to be simply put, a peasant boy who has no business doing in a war-zone or any place near a war. War had at one time been a major part of the Mandango name, Mercenaries by trade they had prowled the warring states offering a entire famiy worth of soldiers to the highest bidder, But then as the conflicts had died down, Traico's father, Atlas, had realised that this was no way to raise a family so he put down his spear and put his armor on the rack and bought a farm to raise the young boy up on. He grew up strong on the Kushvitan flatlands. When the Rebellion came along Atlas had told Traico not to take part, But he did nonetheless, He donned his father's armor and spear and went to war, and when Sosore attempted to roll into town Traico decided to go to war with them too.

Sav was training in the Kushvition royal college in preperation for the day that he would one day take the throne. Then the civil war broke out. Most of the country dispised the royals, and wanted to govern themselves. Sav actually wishes to give more power to the people, and believes that a ruler should always listen to what his subjects request. His family was not so impressed by this. There have been several attempts on Saveel's Life, and he is now fleeing the country under the guise of a traveling mage. He still holds a hope that one day he can return and make the country he invisioned for himself and his people a reality. He holds with him a single magic whistle and his magic tome, the latter for personal defense, and the prior to call what few trusted guardians he has left to assist him if he absolutely needs it.

It's probably for the best that Haika be the Lord, since if he appears on most sessions he can host as well. Checking the pdfs, and considering if I'm going to go the pegasus-falcon knight route, or if I should go a mage route. I was also tempted to go a samurai or swordmaster, but we already have to many swordsman.

Edit: Oh, also: What being the merchant entails exactly?

Being the merchant means a couple of things.

1: You cannot fight.
2: You have infinite storage capacity.
3: Unless level 15, you cannot move.

Who were the lord of the castle the group is trying to storm right now, if you have already someone specified. Or was it one of the Kushvitan castles taken earlier on by Cosore? If it is a Rotoran Castle I was thinking of making her the daughter of the marquess (it's a border, ergo it's a marche, ergo the lord is likely a marquess, unless he's a duke. ), and have her being held in a semi gilded cage so she can be either ransomed, or if not possible, sold into slavery. Either way, haven't mistreated her much because it's bad form to do it if she's going to be ransomed, and it reduces sale value if she's going to be sold to slavery.

Alternatively, if the castle was taken very recently, she have barricaded herself into some room and they haven't managed to break in yet.

Edit: Character sheet is done. Resisted the temptation to make a nearly pointless fault. Proper background to come after the questions asked about the context of the castle.

If you want it, we can work around it too. =p It'd be quite easy for me to change my concept into your character playmate when they were kids, and bodyguard/knight, specially if you are also doing a female character.
