But that would rely on retconjuration working in the first place and you being the first person to discover it, since the first person would retcon themselves into a god and then retcon that they are the only one who is ever able to use it.
It worked for Sarda.

I would use Chronomancy so I could kill myself while I was a baby

retconjuration.
Best.

Actually, I find anti-powers that create a disadvantage to the wielder to be much more entertaining. You can call them "super disabilities".

Like having the anti-power of your thoughts, any time you get within ten feet of a computer, being displayed on the computer screen. Or, whenever you try to open a door, any door, it's always locked.

Simple things like that.

Sarda wasn't a Retconjourer, he just knew the spell "Rewrite Reality According to Sarda's Will"

Personally, I don't think that probability magic (as well as most of the other super powerful magic people would like to use here) would work. The reason for this is that it would be powerful enough to make you, or anyone else really good at it basically a god. And if you used it to make you a god, then you would probably stop anyone else being able to use it, so that tons of other people don't become gods/screw with reality too much.
So the only way you could use it (and the other crazy abilities like altering logic) would be to be the first person in the universe to come up with it (which while possible seems a bit unlikely to me).
Or you make it so that some people never get their powers in the first place - hence, retconjuration.
But that would rely on retconjuration working in the first place and you being the first person to discover it, since the first person would retcon themselves into a god and then retcon that they are the only one who is ever able to use it.
And even then a probability god would likely alter the probability of him finding about threats to his power to be 100% (and many other gods could do similar things), so even if no one had discovered it you would fail.

This stuff sounds like something I read in the forum games section like a year ago.

I'd be a light mage.

Everyone would trust me, and I could blind everyone. And set them on fire.

Everything nearby you fails to achieve their objective.

Give the villain a hug and his giant world-fucking machine crumbles into nuts and bolts in a flurry of horrible luck and bad timing.

Psychological manipulation.
In the end, all powers boil down to "make myself happy, even in a self-hatred fueled manner.". Everyone's powers are all about doing shit that'll end up making them powerful or cool, which will, in turn, make them happy.

I'ma go staight for the end game. Grant the entire human race overwhelming joy, contentment and pleasure. Then, as we waste away in blissful starvation, it's all good.

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.

Book magic. Magically absorbing the contents of as many books at once as you can maintain physical contact with. Subconsciously exuding thoughts onto papers. Basically, Professional Office Bitch magic.
