1: Is it possible to stick modules designed for a station into a rocket?
2: Can I dock a rocket with a station and send them to Mars together?
3: Can I stick a standard engine on a station?
4: What's the penalty for overspending followed by an economic crash, resulting in negative funds?
5: Can we take out loans from NPC banks?
1. Yes, if you provide the nessecary space.
2. If you provide enough trust, yes. It's entirely possible to sent a rocket up in parts  and assemble them in space.
3. Can't see why not.
4. I cancel things out so that you don't go under zero. If impossible, it might results in prestige loss, but interest rates are also quite high.
5. Can't see why not. If you have a good reason.

As for SoHowAreYou's sheet, seems fine.

CHASE

Research:
Lab 1st floor (Propulsion Expert): XL Safe Thruster fuel efficiency. ($2000)
Lab 2nd floor: 10m fuel tank capacity
Lab 3rd floor (Shaiming Hu): Tripod RC repair drone success rate
Lab 4th floor (Specialized for space stations) (Yi shing): Large Sleeping Quarters' duration ($2000)
Spacelab: Space Heatlh Studies (Share results with Toaster)

Design & Production
None.

Construction
Repair damaged lab ($5000)
Lab 5th floor ($30,000) [first priority for removing if I go overbudget.]

Missions:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Taikonauts:
Recall Taikonaut 1.
Tiruin and Taikonauts 1, 5, 6, 8, and 9 will not be training to improve their skills between station stays.
If Taikonauts die in the line of duty, give $1000 to their families.
In the unlikely event that a crew swapping mission fails, the station crew will receive a bonus for staying out the year.

Other:
Aerospace department investment (year 4 of 5) ($1000) (preferred specialty: Fusion) [let me know if he needs another year of schooling because I switched.]
Use PR on my second launch.
Vote on only lighter hulls going open source. Nanobots would be exceedingly dangerous in the hands of terrorists.
Apply for governmental permits to research fusion technology for non-weaponized purposes.

Total expenses: $50,566

My tech will be 4.00 in gravity engines, 4.00 in quantum energy generation matrix (I will assume this will also send power to parts) and 2.00 in quantum computing.

1. As far as I have found out, gravity engines are a sort of infinitive power generator based on a weight that keeps tumbling. It won't work, as it conflicts with the law on conversation of energy.
2.I haven't found out what this is supposed to be
3. This will work

I prefer it when techs stay vaguely realistic, as that gives me plenty of reference material and such.

By gravity engine I meant Gravity generators that would move ships and By matrix I meant something that can you all energy produced in a reaction.

How exactly would such an engine work. That's quite important since otherwise I have no faint idea how to implement it in the game.

By the matrox do you mean something that increasing energy production from somewhere or just creates energy out of nowhere.

It uses fuel but is the actual generator and the generator creates a point or points than moves the ships using that point.

What point? It's quite hard to create matter out of energy, and besides that there's nothing to attach anything to in space (Besides plot hooks, but that's an other matter entirely).

I meant use existing matter and gather.

Space is 99.99% procent vacuum. Solar winds aren't that strong/massive.

Carried on the ship or if launching from the atmosphere.

Since I have all this tech for getting people to live in space, I'm considering getting a pair of connected rockets with the modules needed for long-ranged manned missions into orbit, and then renting them out. They'd likely be available roughly ten turns from now, depending on how my station is going. Is there any interest in such a service?

I'm sorry that I didn't explain my other two techs earlier.

First the generator is not an addon, it takes and converts energy from one king to another, if you can make a reaction this will make it however as a cost lets say you want a fusion reaction you would need to be able to accomplish one before you used in the generator (right no I would burn rocket fuel but it would power the engines and computer.)

For the grav generator it needs to contain the field while making sure to gather mass so the whole ship isn't affected. When in the atmosphere the ships structure would need to be taken into account, when in orbit and in addition to air the number of point, their mass, and the speed they can move also determines speed.

I still don't get the second one. Anyways, what would they do in the game mechanics.

As far as I get it is either a back-up reactor. (Ie something that can function as any type of reactor at any thime, which would make balancing quite hard) or a thing that increases the efficiency of all other reactors/engines.

The gravity generator would be some sort of engine.

O.K. really the only thing in the second one would be in atmosphere the structure would need to be upgraded to move faster.

And the matrix can carry out limited reactions with batteries and the like but a reactor would be better.

And the grav gen is supposed to be an engine
