Oh, hey, I nearly forgot that I wanted to join in on that and show off my cramped station.

For points I want to research computer miniaturization for 300 nanomachines for 200 Solid fuel for 100 heat shields for 100 and thrusters power safety with 200 and nano powering with 100
Nano powering and nanomachines will probably be thrown in the same category. However you won't get real functional nanomachines till you invest about 10.0-20.0.  They are a late tech technology. You will get benefits sooner.
What do you want to do with computer minitaruzation.

Miniaturization in the same way that NASA used them, for calculations on board ships, and I will slog out nano-machines for a late game plan so continue with it please, and the way they will be produced in my mind is the same way they were in Prey the book through bacteria and besides I'm counting on this paying off eventually but I will modify the turn. Also will be ready to role afterwards? will production same category? and also why do you write 1000 like 10.00 I American but I thought , and . switched uses?

Bionanomachines are interesting. (And they function quite well with whatever nanotechs I've already written up).And yes Nanotech will pay of., probably a lot.
Rolling will probably happen wednesday.
????
10.00=> how it is used in the statistics and mechanics
1000=> actual amount of points.

Sorry I meant to say will production be lobbed in with power and general nano machines and I guess you have read Prey

I didn't. The only reason that this game will have one tech for all nanothingies is that it's a game about space, and not about nanotech.

Anybody feeling charitable and maybe be willing to help the newcomer?

Only with advice:
Solid fuel isn't very useful without two-stage rockets, as it's imprecise.
I think you can find a better place to put starting points than heat-resistant plating (unless you focus more starting points on it to make it more usable), as you: don't have any payloads to launch, don't have the power to launch anything using the heavy plating, and don't have anything worth recovering.
As everyone else is more established, many players have unused launch and production capacity you could likely buy cheaply, so you'd probably be happier in the long run ignoring the small thrusters and starting at larger ones, or just putting the points elsewhere.

You might want to put some points into something more immediately usable to earn money or prestige.

My goal is to build a commercial base here on earth to support heavy research projects and to hitch rides on decommissioned or burrowed tech and to trade computers, materials, and robots to other companies but too keep nano-tech for myself for a later mission to Mars and beyond, as well as their various uses like health, military uses and manufacturing and I myself will stay in the shadows, but feel free to guess at the mars mission there are two uses for them. Plus I am sure you could have a use for robotics or materials or computers or even other things that I will research. Also lets just say I am taking a different path than you and everybody else are.

How does spending 40% of your starting research points on rocket techs fit in with the early parts of your plan?

That is for a test bed for materials because applied science is the best science. Just think about the possible uses for an alloy that can stand micro meteors and the suns rays and besides I will just use your surplus equipment for anything heavy which wont be for several years at least. Plus once my plans have come to fruition I probably will be using other means of getting to space rather than straight up rockets. Maybe an elevator, space plane, weirder method. And I am sure you would want a strong material for your station. And finally you didn't guess their use on a Mars mission would be. Also I don't expect to catch up quickly so I won't I would rather make jump then run after you guys for I know it will be hard to catch up with you. Finally like you send not everything is nessecary so I will modify thank you

Oops I tried to hit modify but hit this instead 10ebbor10 please  take into acount my changes and then at the end could I have an estimate on my nanotech and computer capabilities. Finally anybody willing to let me rent out your capcity after this turn I want to see what happens in this one before those considerations.

You need to research commercialization of a tech to make money off it with a factory.

Actually my new strategy is to  get nanotech up commercialize it and then head into space.
