OK then. Also, what is the most complex mission that is capable of being performed? And can the SEA satellite do geology studies or do I need to develop a space rover or something?

The new scientist shall be named Dr Manuel Barrueco

Research
-Dr Faust increases the efficiency of the Large thrusters (or reduces the weight if that is maxed)
-Dr Barrueco works on a more efficient liquid fuel that will work with current thrusters

Design
El Perajo Cantor II updated
Weight: 2069.5kg
8m Fuel tanks = 1352kg
Max payload at stabilised GEO = 145.68kg (with 2 boosters)

Explorador max payload: 348.5kg at stabilised GEO
Alexis shall redesign the Explorador to be more stable.

Missions
Launch an El Perajo Cantor II with two boosters and a Comm sat to stabilised GEO

Other
Scrap the space for the Regained II in the warehouse.

Expenditure:
4500 (3k thrusters, 1k fuel, 500 Comm sat)

Do you mean, at the moment, or eventually.
At the momentthat would be a flyby which launches the ship in the general direction of another planet. Eventually you will be able to do tours through the solar system using extremely little fuel.

It can do hightmaps, basic radar scan and can wield a small spectroscope. It could scan the surface, but that's about everything.

I continue improving the solar panels.
Spare lab develops power storage batteries.

MOAR SOLAR PANELZ

Other: Pay the university student that showed an interest in joining us some money so that he can finish his education. Specifically, I would prefer a scientist with a specialization in orbital satelites/space stations.
Donate $500 to charity.

Sleeping Quarters:  Extend the maximum stay.  (1k?)

[Electronics Expert] Computer Feedback:  Increase the safety improvement.  (2k)

[Fuel Scientist] Can we increase the safety of Solid Fuel?  If not, increase its power.

[Thruster Scientist]  Large thruster:  More power. (3k)


Designs:

[Personal Design]
Try to increase the reentry safety margin on the Explorer even more.


Building:

Expand the car engine factory again.  (10k)

Other:

Launch the Explorer!  Take it for a cruise to LEO and bring it back home.  Crew it with 'nauts 3, 4, and 5.

Expenses:  18k  (8k Research, 10k construction)

What's the numerical difference?
Autopilot gets the chance advertised. Crew may make a positive or negative addition to that, depending on a roll, depending on their skill.
