-Dr Faust will improve the Large Thrusters yet more. In priority order: Efficiency, Weight, Stability,  Max fuel.
-Floor 2 shall work on getting more fuel into the fuel tanks.

Construction
Build 2 Vengadors, 1 Mano de Ayuda and 1 Perajo Cantor II

Other
Sell the Vengadors to the Government
Make a promise that STARS will get a comm sat to GEO within five years. Apply PR to this.

Expenditure

Research: Superconductors and large thrusters.
Launch: A diamond 1. Take pictures of lots of landmarks!
Other: Find an experimental Plasma Physicist. Offer him/her 5000$.

Is it possible to build Medium or large structures? Our labs and such are still small.

That's just a description, small and medium and such has no meaning in the games mechanics.
Also ,what do you intend to with those superconductors.

Nirur:  Neat!  Let's get cracking, and I'll take that trade.

Also, Ebbor- I don't see those scientists on my list.  Do I need to do anything special to get them to work?

Can I put two different fuel tanks with two different types of fuel in the same stage of the same vessel?  For example, some solid fuel to lift off and normal to navigate?

You need to poke me to add them. I forgot. You also need to tell me what the type of the second scientist is.

Nah, the idea is that the engines are modified automatically and free of charge for it to work.

YOu send them to Kingfisher, not to Austria right?

Okay, thanks.  I'll take electronics expert.

Urist smiled as he read back the letter from his Chinese counterpart.  It looked like they were interested in going forward with the joint station.  Given the strong relations between their governments, this should not be a problem with the higher-ups.

There was much research to be done to get ready, though.  Thankfully the expo had produced two talented young scientists that were taken into the fold.  With their help, new designs and ideas could quickly be produced.

Research:
Space Shuttle:  Decrease the weight more.

[Electronics Expert] Computer Feedback:  Increase the safety improvement.

[Fuel Scientist] XL Fuel Tank:  Increase its capacity.

[Thruster Scientist]  Large thruster:  More power.

Designs:

[Personal Design]
Explorer Space Shuttle Mk II
Height: 20m
Weight:  10556 kg
Available Payload: N/A (Still can't launch under own power, but much closer!)
Thrust: 8465.625 kg

Components:

Space Shuttle hull (20m): 20*350 = 7000kg
Large thruster (2 meter): 350kg, 8465.625 kg To LEO
XL normal fuel tanks  (3*5 meter): 2625 kg
Computer Feedback:  100kg
Cockpit module (3 meter):  481 kg

Building:

Expand Mission Control to allow a second launch/year. (5k)

Other:
Donate the rockets to the museum in a generous gesture designed to increase my prestige.
When they're gone, those designs can be obsoleted as well.

Train both Scotonauts.  Spend 5k on hiring a couple more of at least 7/10 quality.

Send China the Space Shuttle tech [including anything I find this turn] in exchange for the space station tech he is sending me.

Expenses:
15k  (5k research, 5k building, 5k hiring)

Nirur, If you wish to make use of my thrusters (or Alexis' design expertise) then something can be arranged :)
Sorry to take so long to get back to you, but I was waiting on Toaster's decision. Thanks for your offer, but I don't think I will need your thrusters to meet my time goal, and I'd rather use my own engine, which should be safer after another year or two of research. I also don't think the shipping costs and various risks are worth sending several proprietary vehicle components overseas for someone else to build a prototype that costs $2000 at my own factory.

Will you be working on finding a way to keep people up there for long stretches of time as well? I'm not confident in my scientists' ability to research that before my deadline passes, and if you are then I'll send over my data on sleeping quarters.
