?  That's what Wolfram Alpha gave me.

Input was:

(A+B+C+P)/T + (B+C+P)/H + (C+P)/R - 1, solve for P

(Note- it didn't like me putting w1 etc for the var names, so I changed it to ABC instead of W1 W2 W3 and THR instead of T1 T2 T3.  I fixed it for the top formula.)

Your formula is wrong.

(A+B+C)/T=/= T/(B+C+P)

Sorry, Mass Effect 3 came out.
Perk: Researcher
Research: Repair that lab! Work on explosives, ie. droppable ones. And the seemingly cursed lighter hulls.
Design: Finally, something.
The Creeper 1
3 small fuel: Fuel 125l. Weight, 375kg
3 Small thruster
1 life support
1 explosives.
Other: Invest in some sort of "Austrian Space week, to celebrate the creation of the new rocket!

I had a few ideas for n-stage rockets that might work, but I make no promises.

For the next version of the spreadsheets (which I'll properly add the prices and design xp into, sorry about that), how exactly is booster thruster calculated? Is it just the net thrust directly added onto the thrust of the initial rocket stage?

They can't fly at all. Your design has 3 thrusters, while you can only have one with your current tech. Also your fueltanks hold 171.5 liter tanks to Ansontans cooperation.

3 small fuel: Fuel 514l. Weight, 514kg
1 Small thruster 100kg 1095kg thrust
1m payload( You can replace this by any payload weighting less then 165 kg. I strongly suggest that you add more fuel tanks if you want to have a usefull rocket)
Hull: 5*65= 325
Payload 165 kg

For example, this design will be able to carry your explosives or a lifesupport module.

5 small fuel:  857.5 l
1 small thruster: 100kg 1826 thrust
1 m payload( Max 514 kg)
Hull: 7*65= 455
