They say the rebels are getting rockets. Rubbish in my opinion, but there's no harm in pandering to rumour. Especially if the Generalissimo believes it. Once the lab boys have got the warhead sorted, I'll tell him of our development, and offer them to him. Even if they don't have rockets, it'll just be an advantage to our great nation.

Research
- Dr Faust works on making the Thrusters more efficient
- A team works on creating an explosive payload, specifically chemical based, such as nitroglycerine and TNT.

An El Perajo Cantor II with a Comm satellite as payload.
Production
Fit the 'El Perajo Cantor II' with a comm satellite.
Missions
Launch the modified 'El Perajo Cantor II'

@ Kashyk, payloads can be switched for free. The refitting isn't needed.

Why should I give you money when I can make my own explosives? :P

but we make the better ones :D and why invent your own if you could just trade me some satellite-tech for it?

Because I'm a greedy, secretive person? :) But, I guess if you traded the Thermobaric tech for the satellite tech, I might be persuaded..

I'll have to go about upgrading that next turn, then.  Too much on my plate for this one.

Also, that large thruster is hardly safe.  Don't want to make dog jerky!

Question- can the life support module be the only thing I put in the second stage?  If the first stage can get to LEO alone, I shouldn't need thrusters on the second part, correct?

Urist was pleased- his researchers cut over half the weight off the life support module.  With just a few refinements, it'd be ready to go.  He should be well on track to make the scheduled launch of his claim at this point.

His last design wasn't his best- the head of R&D opposed his decision to approve it for launch, but damned if it was his choice!  If Urist said launch it, it would launch!

The Chinese trade had gone well as well.  The news reported that West Germany and Scotland had a big fight in the UN, so there wouldn't be any trading there for a while.  No matter to him- Urist trusted in his own abilities.

There was much to be done.  Urist grabbed a fresh roll of blueprint paper, and settled down to design...

Research:
Continue to continue to improve our rocket fuel to increase our thrust.

Two stage hull:  Let's make it lighter too!

Large Thruster:  Too explodey.  Let's fix that!

Designs:
[Personal Design]

WATCH THIS SPACE- need to ask a question.

Building:
Expand the launch pad to allow 20m rocket launches.

Other:
Launch that Spear Mk2!  Two 35% fail explode chances is only a 57.75% total chance to explode!

Different research teams cannot work together on the same project. Assign your leader to something else.

A multistage rocket needs a thruster on every stage. Otherwise it's just a single stage one. If your first stage can make it to LEO, there's no reason to put a second stage on top.( Except for height reasons, but you can research that).

Your spear MK I can carry your dogmobile though( But only barely).

Nirur is right. One project can only have one research team working on it.

Other: (is this possible) TRY to the form an alliance with the US space program. As Canada and US are in RL very close together, should we already be friends?
I won't force actions onto another player. If you want to form an alliance, you'll have to talk to RulerOfNothing( who manages the US space program.)
