Alright then. Can I permanently specialise the SEA satellite for a specific type of research (or just have it gather data on space conditions so I can better protect future astronauts from the rigours of space travel)? Also, your statement on prestige seems to be incorrect (it should provide 500 extra funding per year rather than 100).

Where are the stats. OP needs a good overhaul.
The stats are posted at the end of each turn. Also, I'm going to leave the O.P as it is, as there's nothing fundamentally wrong there( I think)

You can do that. You can also just calibrate it for whatever research you want just before you lauch it.
Can't find the wrong statement though. Funds are equal to 500*Prestige+1000+others.
Never mind, found it

Other:
Arrange a press conference, spending 1k (more is okay if needed.)  Make an announcement that DWARF will put a man in space* within three years.   Make arrangements with the Air Force seeking a volunteer test pilot.
Isn't spending money on press conferences for prestige restricted to lobbyists?

...Good catch.  I guess nix throwing money at it (I've done it without the cash before- I forgot that archetype and just saw someone else (IE you) doing it.  I'll go edit that out.

Designs:
Even though it's no cost, I really can't come up with any more designs- there's not much point without swank new components.

You know that I spent between double or triple the amount of your turn then on others turns.

Then you should be glad I'm not! d=

W.A.T. Yearly report

Research
- Work progresses on improving the standard fuel.
- Even whitout the acces to uranium your scientists make quick progress on the theoretical aspects of nuclear fussion. They think they should posces enough knowledge to begin developping a small nuclear powerplant or a nuclear battery soon. Nuclear warhead would require far more research. However researching the more practical aspects would require acces to uranium or other nuclear materials.

Production
Produce some more Regained II
2  more regained II's are developped.

Other
Contact the Israeli Government if they would be interested in the Purchase of Weaponized Rockets. There's some interest from Israel, seeing as the american embargo cut of their weapon supplies.
Contact the Spanish Government that we would be able to help them if they Basque Problem and that we could sell them our Rockets. The general, having more or less lost his faith in his own rocket program, would like to buy 3 armed rockets.

Research
- Dr Faust works on making the thrusters lighter. Work continues, and Doctor Faust manages to shave off quite a lot of weight from the engine.
- The second research team continues working with explosives. KABLOIE.( Yup, blew up the lab, again) .Again there's only light damage(500)

Design
'Mano de Ayuda' by Alexis Solsona[0.64]

Missions
Launch the 'El Perajo Cantor II' with the pair of 'Mano de Ayudo' s attached. The launch goes well, and both Boosters detach on time. Sadly they 're both too damaged to repair when they land.( Booster have a 10% reusability chance.)
The press is impressed by your innovation and you manage to secure some extra funds.

Expenses
5k (3K for thrusters + 1K explosives + 250*2( Prototype development isn't free)+500 for lab repairs)

The war continous escalating. Today the first rocket was launched, obliterating an entire village( Rebels had evacuated the village before). Tanks are rolling in and supplies are harder to get. The Russians have descided  to act and are sending militairy aid. Russian Airplanes are dropping critical supplies and Tanks are on their way. The rebels have blown up all your acces routes, while the Russians are dropping supplies but getting anything else in or out will be a problem.

DWARF Yearly report.

Research:
Fuel scientist will research solid fuel, since normal fuel is tapped out. Solid fuel research goes fast.

Life Support Module:  Redesign it to support larger beings. Work here goes slowly.

Large Thruster:  Still too explodey.  Explodey is bad! Work goes well hereThrusters have reached a certain amount of complexity ( 2000 for further research)

Designs:
Even though it's no cost, I really can't come up with any more designs- there's not much point without swank new components.

Building:
Expand the car engine factory. Factory expanded.

Other:
Arrange a press conference. Make an announcement that DWARF will put a man in space* within three years.   Make arrangements with the Air Force seeking a volunteer test pilot.
Not many people believe you'll be able to do this in such a short time and one of the press guys even asks you in how many pieces you'll bring him back.
The Airforce doesn't want to talk to you either.
( That were some bad rolls)

Nice. A quick question: how much more fuel would it take to have one of my SEA satellites perform a lunar flyby?

Dr Smith was looking at the technical specifications of the new Redstone II rocket. It was quite impressive, being able to put over 700kg in a stable Low Earth Orbit. Preliminary tests had shown that the rocket was mostly without fatal flaws, but Dr Smith decided that more testing would be prudent, especially in light of the fact that no-one else appeared to have any plans for scientific missions. At least, not those that did not involve tossing some hapless creature into space. However, it did seem to be a necessary first step for humanity to claim the stars, and so Dr Smith started preparations for ASTRO to develop its own life support technology.

Research:
Dr Smith will develop a life support module (free)
Lab 1 will continue work on fuel power.(-$1000)
Lab 2 will continue work on the efficiency of the small thruster.(-$2000)
Research Cost: $3000

Design:
Nothing.

Production:
Construct 1 Redstone II (-$775)

Launch:
Launch a test flight of the Redstone II

Construction:
Nothing

Total cost: $3775

Quite a lot actually. You'd need to double the rockets weight( Or at least the weight of the top stage, which will launch the payload towards the moon.) Most lower stages don't even reach LEO. None of your rockets can reach the Moon for now.

Everything was proceeding as planned. Friedrich was happy. The Spanish on both sides and even the israelis wanted to buy his rockets. On the other hand Nuclear Fission could soon be used maybe even as thruster allowing WAT to send their first living being into space.

Research:
Continue Research on Nuclear Fission, especially as use for warheads and thrusters (Secret Weapons Scientist)

Develop Kerosene as a fuel (Fuel Scientist)

Production:
Construct More Regained II
with appropriate warheads

Other:
Sell Rockets to the Spanish Government

Announce our Research on Nuclear Fission for Economic and Space-Faring use

Try to obtain Uranium

Total cost: $3050 (2000 Research + 1050 Rockets)

OOC: Ok i might not be able to launch Rockets with somethign interesting into Space but the War in Spain proves a good enough alternative source of money and as soon as i get my hands on Uranium, Germany will go to the moon and BEYOND!

You aren't using Kerosene at the moment. Your rockets run on a combination of liquid oxygen and Alcohol.

Also, the Spanish want their rockets armed with warheads. Also, Many nations have moral problems with the use of nuclear powered engines near the Earth's atmosphere/ Magnetosphere.

Well, according to my calculations I will be able to send up to 167kg of payload on a lunar flyby with the Redstone II once I reach the maximum I can wring out of my fuel and small thruster (since those will reach 125% power and 2.25 kg to LEO per kg fuel respectively). I am also curious as to what other kinds of products we can sell for money (and what would happen to Nirur Torir's income from solar cells if someone else moved into the market).
