Picture war sandbox game
« on: February 07, 2012, 08:56:19 pm »

Picture wars forums are available here. There's a tutorial there on how to do a good match. Sandbox mode is like a regular match, but anyone and everyone is allowed to join whenever they want.

Rules: Common sense, and please overview picture wars before joining. I'm sure you'll enjoy at least reading it.
(I am lazy so I just stole the other thread's description.)

We are playing on this map.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

After a long harrowing journey, our unlikely heroes get what they think is a moment's respite.

Dave: It sucks that we got separated from the main forces, huh guys.
Monty: Yeah, I'll set up a radio station, to see if we can contact the base.
Dave: Ok, you do that. Buildy, can you set up a teleporter for our buddies.
Buildy: Sure thing boss!

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

Unbeknownest to the resting explorers, a UFE outpost sits above them. A folded tripod sits in the lower level, the main force in the upper level, and a rocketrooper and machinegunner below.

A squad of marines, on a stand-alone reconnaissance mission, find themselves in a cave system. reaching the top of the incline, one of the marines relays what he can see back to his commander.
"No hostiles sighted, Sir. The cavern continues a short distance before opening into a chasm. I think it continues on the other side."
"Copy that, hold position Beta." Prime responds, before turning to Alpha and Gamma.
"Prepare for unidentified contacts, Command has no idea what's here."
"Affirmative!"

((Oh yeh, could you add a clean copy of the map to the OP?))

The officer recieves intel about radio signals underneath the base, and sends the rocketrooper off to figure out what they are.

((I had a description written, but then lost it, so sorry about this bad one))

"Alpha, support Beta as he scouts ahead."
Affirmative."
"Gamma, cover their return." Prime quickly dispatched his squad to investigating the local area as any body nearby would be quite curious when a pod fell out of the sky.
"Seven Prime, this is Authority. Orders from Defiant Actual. You are to set up a base of operations to facilitate a take over of the area. This planet has been claimed in the name of the Federation. To facilitate this, your drop pod request has been modified."
"Copy that. For the Federation."
"For the Federation. This is Authority, Out."
