Yea, because everything that is clearly not span has an amending message in parentheses advertising this fact. Because it isn't like they are advertising anything else, nooo, we can clearly take anything on the internet by its word, and threads even more so, because it isn't like there are bots or anything that have a reason to make spam and insist it isn't spam.

No, nothing puts my mind at ease any more than seeing "(not spam)".
