Putting a small space between the pictures for that MELEE montage could make it a bit more viewable for me. Right now at first glance I get a zebra effect and that makes me a sad ursine.

Fixed, sorry about that, yeah it was pretty awful. And I`ll probably have time to play an update tomorrow.

I agree with waiting out the Hatamoto.  We have two young sons, we can certainly wait.

Still, we should try to best Sakuan. Maybe we can look out for Eisei and kill him?

Build up army, destroy Eisei.  This scourge of the samurai lands shall not be tolerated!

Very much this. I once rushed my way to daimyo. It wasn't pretty. The second worst daimyo had a lead of several hundred soldiers on me. Not to mention my honour, land holdings et al. It ended quickly after that.

Posting to watch. Loved this game back in the day, especially since it shared a lot of game engine with Pirates!, which was one of the best games ever.

I suggest building up some honor. Never played the game so there is that.

I would recommend staying friends with Saukan. He seems friendly enough and if you are not going to be the successor then being friend with the most likely alternative is a good idea. Beside, it wont do to weaken your potential subjects to much or make them unloyal because they hate you. I would have recommended marrying a more honorable wife, because that seems to be a bit of a weak point for this clan, but this one seems fertile enough and many sons may be more important in the long run. Lordly sons have a tendency to die in games where they are important.

So lets polish our honor a bit, we seem to have all the other at nice level right now.

Waiting for update!
