EDIT

With the Captain...
(10+1)
Flint reaches up, grabbing Sven by the shoulder and shoving him back. "Enough talk! Go get someone from the medical tents...or...get the Lieutenant and the others or something! Tel'Hal, see what you can do."
Sarek, true to his word, is rather efficient in aiding the man- Using a strip of cloth torn from the injured soldier's own shirttail, he forms a series of crude bandages around the unhinged shoulder and applies pressure. The makeshift bandage is quickly soaked through with blood, but it would appear that the injured man will last for a few moments longer than he normally would.
Audible only to Sarek and Flint, who are now on their knees beside the man, comes the response to the Captain's earlier question. "Scout-...ing thirty-s-six. We were..."
He coughs once more, and this time, loud enough for the others to hear, "...a-ambushed on our way back...by th-...the lumber pi-..."

Outside the Tavern...
"At ease, Lieutenant." the bearded man states after a momentary pause, without glancing to the rest of the group he amends, though unnecessarily "That goes for the rest of you as well."
Lieutenant Ward deflates like a popped balloon, looking around to the rest of you. Finally, his eyes settle on Leiara and Wesley, the two standing closest to Brandguard. "You two! Don't you know the general when you see him? Do you not kno-"
He is cut off rather abruptly by the bearded man: "Calm, Lieutenant. We hadn't yet reached formal introductions. Miss Leiara...erm, and whoever you might be. I am General Theodore Brandguard, of the Arkros First Army. I believe you should already be aware of the proper means of addressing me. If not Lieutenant Ward has demonstrated them quite well."

"Yes of course." Wesley then picked up a few things off the ground, turned around looking at the general and with a look of shock fumbled everything as he panicked and saluted. "G-g-g-greetings g-general!" Wesley stood saluting with a faux look of fear on his face, slowly turning back to a cocky smirk as he looked around, then looking at the General remorsefully, "Dreadfully sorry to offend, was I suppose to drop MORE things?"

D'zelik simply placed his hand over his face upon watching the human's mockery of the Lieutenant.

At first, D'zelik was convinced that the human would die during their first confrontation with the enemy. Now, he wasn't even sure if he'd make it that far.

"The enemy is by the lumber pits? What are you trying to say man!?"

After shouting Sarek realized he was digging his fingers into the man's good shoulder. Embarrassed he stands and pauses for a moment to compose himself.

"Forgive me but Captain, we surely need to warn everyone. It didn't seem that this camp is ready for any kind of attack.

Drumming the hilt of his sword eagerly Sarek waited for the captains reply.

Leiara went into a bow, customary of her people when meeting a commander of another's army. "Hail General Brandguard, I am Leiara Talderin, together with this...fine man beside me." She straightened after saying her line and turned to the other two with a smile."Do you both have to drop whatever you're holding when meeting an officer, or is it just me? Or is it normal to see a General in this time?"

Outside the Tavern...
Lieutenant Ward's eyes widen, and he begins to sputter out a series of responses before the General cuts him off once more with a raised hand. "No doubt the Lieutenant was simply surprised by my presence in this area of the village, I would normally be accompanied by a guard retinue."

He pauses a moment, looking to Wesley. "He will be on latrine cleaning duty for the next month, I trust, Lieutenant?"

With the Captain...
Sven has little issue finding the medical tent- you had passed by it whilst surveying the wall earlier. The Gnome's panicked expression is all it takes for Finch and two of his wards to come running...

"Yes, of course." Alis cuts in, "My rangers will mobilize the camp defenses." The elf turns and rushes off.
Flint looks from the running Captain back to the injured man and finally to Tel'Hal. "If he's saying they're by the lumber piles, it means there are more in danger."
As he speaks, Sven and the medics arrive on the scene. Commander Flint gives Finch a short nod, and then looks to the three of you. "Head to the center of the village, and find Lieutenant Ward. Get suited up, and bring the rest of the regiment back here with you. Be quick about it."

All
A moment after the General stops talking, and a moment or two after Flint gives his command to Sven, Sarek, and Fibleck, a bell begins to gong in the distance. The soldiers by the palisade begin to load their rifles, and a several groups rush out from the buildings closest to the palisade, strapping sword belts on as they go.

Assuming that the sudden ringing of the bell signified the initiation of some kind of drill or training practice, D'zelik sighed as he lazily picked up a canteen from the pile of equipment, and began walking in the direction he heard all of the commotion coming from.

"Excuse me General, if it's not much to ask: he was just trying to help with morale, being the funny man he is. Latrine duty doesn't look like the best way for his abilities."

Leiara turned towards the Lieutenant. "Please excuse my friend here Sir Ward, he is- a very cunning man and no doubt wanted to show how to greet an eminent officer properly. Was that an alarm?"
