'Well, this is the way to affirm your position.' Leiara didn't like the man, though. She wondered where his eyes truly were, and where his goals actually placed.

She just nods in agreement.

'I really have a bad feeling of submitting to this man.'

D'zelik had grown so used to being the leader of countless hunting parties, he had almost forgotten what it was like to take orders from others. Even when his tribe leaders did order him to do something, they were far more respectful than this man.

D'zelik raised his hand slightly. "Will we also be ordered to do things that aren't pointless, sir?"

Sarek remained quiet as the captain insulted his family merely biting his lip and avoiding the man's gaze. Even after the captain had moved on Sarek stood in silence until D'zelik's comment snapped him out of his depression.

He nudged the goblin and whispered. "Look I admit I don't know much about how things work where you are from. But if you keep up that kind of attitude towards this guy your not the only one who will receive punishment. Just bite your tongue and deal with it for all our sakes.

D'zelik was surprised to see the nobleman do nothing about the insults to his bloodline. In the desert, words like that would ensure that Tobias Flint wouldn't remain a captain for very long. He wondered if such disrespect was normal in the human lands. Regardless, Sarek had a point. Despite not taking their new captain very seriously, the last thing D'zelik wanted was to cause trouble for the others.

Nodding back at Sarek, he lowered his hand, and stood in attention.

"Er, Yes sir."

While this man seemed unpleasant, Sven was not about to bring attention to himself over words.

Flint casts a glare on Wesley, before stepping closer to the man- so close, in fact, that their noses are nearly touching. The conman can taste onion on the Captain's breath, "You mean 'yes sir', recruit. Is that understood?"

He steps back, and turns to D'zelik. For a moment, it almost looks like he's about to say something, but then he simply doesn't. Instead, Captain Flint turns his back to the group. "Three of you with me, I have work that needs to be done. The rest of you are with Lieutenant Ward." He begins to stalk off, only pausing once more beside the Lieutenant to issue a final order: "Lieutenant, make sure this lot's fully outfitted by the time I'm back and that the puke-skin gives us twenty-five for his impudence...double that, actually. I don't like the look of him."

As Flint stalks off, Ian Farmer lets out an audible sigh and nearly sinks to his knees with relief. Lieutenant Ward rubs the back of his neck, and turns an apologetic gaze to the lot of you.

Wesley caught Farmer by the shoulder, hoisting him back up straight "Kid, if your gonna nearly feint from General Halitosis your not gonna make it past boot camp." Wesley looked up and shrugged his shoulders lifting his hands up in sign of defeat, "Then who will I run faster then when we inevitably retreat?" Shaking his head, Wesley grasped his rifle and stepped toward the lieutenant, "I'm with you, Lt. Ward, let the Gun Ho ones follow the Captain."

Leiara took one look at the Captain, striding off with pride. She guessed his attitude was due to stress.

As she moved over to Lieutenant Ward, she decided to help the poor conscript. "Remember what I told you, be strong."

She turned when she heard the familiar voice of that human. "As am I, Lieutenant," she piped in. To be truly honest, she felt more confident to be in this man's hands, and she had a feeling her skills would be better put to use here.

"Are you sure there Daisy?  You seem to be the only one the Captain likes.  Then again what's not to like you certainly do have a great pair."  Wesley took some time to check his nails for dirt, and brush some hair off his hide 'Armor' ,"Of swords."

It was him again. "Why yes, I do have a great pair of swords! And I'll be putting them to good use soon enough," she said with a cheerful voice, ignoring the implications in his words.

She turned to the Lieutenant. "So, what are your plans, Sir?"

D'zelik stood around for a moment, confused about exactly what he was supposed to give. Being unfamiliar with human military lingo. He then shrugged it off and joined the others by the lieutenant.
