I had a similar issue posted here a few days ago, but this is a bit different. Then, clothing was being left behind after dead dwarves, but this problm is different. I make a lot of small bedrooms to accomodate everyone, but I don't assign them, I let the dwarves pick for themselves. Now a few of them leave clothes lying around in the bedroom. I tried putting cabinets in the rooms but they don't seem to mind at all.

I think that it's the soldier dwarves leaving their clothing behind, but I'm not sure about this..

Cabinets and boxes only help so much. Some dwarfs just like to leave their stuff around.

Making tombs with boxes and cabinets can help though.
