'Nother artifact thread
« on: February 05, 2012, 02:12:00 pm »

I just got a lead crossbow. Too bad it was a possession. I'd say it'll make a great weapon, but you never know...

Anyway,

Code: [Select]
This is a lead crossbow. All craftsdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is studded with lead.
This object menaces with spikes of rutile.
On the item is an image of Ineth Lashallies the dwarf and dwarves in water buffalo leathe. Ineth Lashallies is surrounded by the dwarves. The artwork relates to the ascension of the dwarf Ineth Lashallies to the position of king of the Diamond of Organs in 1.

On an interesting side note, it looks like my current civ is named after a kidney stone...huh.

So it gets the accuracy modifier of an artifact and the CC killing power of lead?
If only it were made from platinum...

Is it possible the dwarves would interpret
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
as a blazing sun?

Totally.

Trust me, I'm working on it. I found a better area with a nice slade quarry, and turned invasions off. It's also full of obsidian. It also has 0 soil layers, so farming is extremely difficult. Fortunately, no invasions means that I can steal as much booze and stuff as I need.

Or slade. This is ASCIt we're talking about, after all.
But this would be impossible in vanilla due to slade no longer being classified as a metal.
Even then ASCIt did mod slade as a metal anyway...

no, but I don't remember modding slade to be a metal. Or at least not successfully...

Oh, then let me correct myself. You were forced to make slade into a ore that melted into some red super-slade bars.

All hail the oddities of modifying the raws!

Rathesteel, if I remember correctly. But as I recall, rathesteel was NOT slade in metal form. Harder, heavier steel basically.

Just add a few zeroes to the density and were good to go!
