In that case, I think this is a good idea:
I'd say, Bonefeast and skeletal muscle, if we run into obstacles of the magical kind we can deal (or learn to deal) with them ourselves, if we run into obstacles of the physical kind... lets just say Maynard looks a little scrawnie and it would be a great help if our skeletal minions could offset this particular shortcomming

    Turn 19: Golemy 101

    Panel 1:
    Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Mayard: "I'd like to learn Golem Crafting, Shelby could use a tougher form."
Olof: "As you wish, I shall teach you Golem crafting!"

Shelby moves Olof's corpse into the corner, it smells pretty bad but you can live with it for a while at least.

    A while later

    Panel 2:
    Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Olof: "- and that is all you need to know."

    You now know Golem Crafting!

Mayard: "Olof, why does your spirit linger in this world still?"
Olof: "My spirit does not linger here naturaly Mayard, you are the one who brought it back onto this plane of exsistence. Thanks to you I may have another chance at life, granted I am still just a ghost now but if my plan goes smoothly I will have a physical form soon enough. But don't worry, I will still teach you if I do. I have grown accustomed to having a student and you seem more trustworthy then most. There is nothing I hate more then treachery Mayard, you will do well to remember that."

Olof seems pretty serious about treachery that last sentence sounded almost like a threat.

Olof: "It is probabley time you went to bed Mayard, you won't be much use if you're tired. And remember to tell that skeleton of yours not to go and get spotted by the villagers. The last thing you need is suspicion."

You are feeling pretty tired come to think of it, thirsty too. Your thirst bar appears! Something horrible will probabley happen if you let that fall to zero.

Tell Shelby to just hide in the basement. Either forage for food or buy some at the local market ( if you can afford anything ).

I just realized...the title is spelled Necromatic, instead of necromantic.

And drink from that water barrel.

Check whats in it first. If it does not seem harmful, have at it.

      Turn 21: Plans

      Panel 1:
      Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Mayard: "I should clean this blood off the floor before we do anything."
Olof: "Just get that skeleton of yours to do it, there is a rag in the basment."

      Panel 2:
      Spoiler (click to show/hide)
You open the hatch to talk to Shelby.
Shelby: "Good morning Master. I take it that you have finished sleeping?"
Mayard: "Uh yeah, I have. Can you come up here and clean the blood off the floor? Olof said to use the rag down there."
      Shelby: "Of course Master."

Yep, talking to Shelby still creeps you out a little.

      Panel 3:
      Spoiler (click to show/hide)
You snack on some of the berries you collected last night and listen to Olof's plan.

Olof: "Since it is impossible to make me a body. We will have to gather the items required to allow me to possess someone. Of course me possessing someone is permanent so it is more or less murder, but no matter. We need three things, the first two are oil and salt they should be easy to come by but the third is quite rare: A long, sharp gemstone.

The gemstone may be hard to come by since this isn't exactly a rich village. But last night I overheard some conversations in the  Peddlers Reprieve while I was practicing invisiblity. Apparently there is a small band of Grouges nearby and they attacked a caravan full of valuables destined for Turst. I didn't hear anything about where they are now so you'll have to ask around. The caravan guards were staying the night at the Peddlers Reprieve so if you get there early you might be able to get information out of them before they leave."

The Peddlers Reprieve is the Town's Inn/Tavern/General store, it's fairly popular since the village is near the main road to Turst so most travelers stop there. Gain and Calline own it and they make a reasonable living, they've also bailed out your family several times when it looks like you aren't going to make it through winter.

Ask Olof why we just can't make a golem body for him.  Then ask him what grouges are.  If he answers satisfactorily, go to the caravan guards and just politely ask questions.  If that doesn't work, we'll figure out something else.
