Turn 17: Time to get things done
Panel 1:You decide to move the
table in front of the
door so there is less chance you will be
disturbed.Panel 2:By moving the table you uncover your
books. You have the following books:- The little book of the Necromatic Arts - Contains some information about raising skeletons using spirits.
- Lands and Beasts - Contains maps and has information on most towns and animals within the Human kingdom of Tir
- The Anorak - Recounts and information regarding the Anorak, a large clay creature that has been rampaging through the north for many years.
- The Story of Devist Morgan - The story of one of the most poweful necromancers of the last hundred years.
- Crimes of Necromancy: The Goblins - This book says that the Goblins are the fault of a necromancer. You don't think that is possible but since you don't know much it could be.
- Crimes of Necromancy: The Ogres - Pretty much the same as above but with Ogres.
Shelby: "What are these master?"
Mayard: "Those are books."
Shelby: "What do they do?"
Mayard: "They, um, they tell stories. The symbols in them mean words, do you understand?"
Shelby: "Yes."
It never occured to you that things you
raise won't know what some things do. I guess you'll just have to
deal with it.Panel 3:The light is going up to the 1st floor so you go to close the
hatch.Panel 4:Okay, time to do this. The
message said to put the body in the
circle so you tell
Shelby to do it.
Panel 5:Shelby complies. The
circle begins to lose its colour and
glow.
Panel 6:You are forced to close your eyes due to the light's
intensity.
Panel 7:The light dissapates and you open your eyes.
You are shocked.Olof: "Hello Mayard. I see you found my book."
Mayard: "I u-"
Olof: "Before you say anything I'd like to extend an offer. I am prepared to take you on as my apprentice. With my help you can learn much more then you would from that book or by trial and error. You could become very powerful Mayard."
Author Notes:
That's right, this isn't dead. I had a lot of stuff to do last week so I diddn't have time to do an update.
Also let's just pretend that the shadows are a bit off in the basment for the first panels.
Let's also pretend that the books being under the table wasn't because I forgot to draw a bookshelf when I first did the shack (on that note the rest of your money is under the barrel).
