Turn 9: It's Alive!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
You create the spirit with 8 points in each attribute and using the words, Loyal and Hardworking.
Loyal takes 2 off of the cost to keep it under control and hardworking takes 1 off cost to control and adds one to it's strength.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
It's taking over the body!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It lives! It's eyes glow purple.

Skeleton: "I am yours to command."

This is great, it actually worked, You do a little dance in celebration. Now you have a loyal servant to do your bidding. Although you should give it a name, things with names are always less scary (although that may not apply to walking bones).

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Oh look, a new Section in your inventory. It looks this this skeleton is taking 19 points to keep under control. This number is based on the amount of points of spiritual energy you used to create it. You have 40 points in total.

Did you use rolls for the summoning?

Also, have the skeleton accompany Mayard to the cemetary.

See where I'm going here?

EDIT: The Skeleton's name shall be...

SHELBY.
I'll go with that.

Also, that victory dance is the best.

He makes it look good.

Going with that (Why Shelby though?)

We should probably find something to eat. Maybe scout out the surroundings for berries or edible plants?

We should've gave the spirit Cooking  :P

Considering Mayard's clothes and its color, it's really no surprise as to why he'd name a skeleton Shelby, at least in character.

Yes. That is the hay we sleep on, we store it under the bed when not in use.

Turn 10: A wild plot device appears!

You name the skeleton Shelby. Much less scary.

Panel 1:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You check out the glowing on the wall. It appears to be writing.

Mysterious writing:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

How mysterious, this explains that whole thing with his burial. Most people in the village get cremated, a rare few get buried in the cemetary (usualy people who come here from other parts of the world). Olof's will requested that he be buried in a shallow grave in the woods. A lot of people were suprised at that since everyone asumed he was going to be buried in the cemetary like the other people who come from down south.

Wait a sec, there is a basment?

1. Search for the basement. It's probably under the bed, or under that barrel. Actually those floorboards in the bottom corner are turned opposite the rest, check that out first.

2. Look for a shovel.

3. Stop staring at me Shelby!
