So the 3 words thing isn't going to happen. Lets focus on what to say to father.

I'd suggest telling him we just lost track of time.

If you don't want us to always choose the same personality traits, maybe you could make it so that we choose one and can add additional, but every extra one we add also results in another random trait being added.  That would balance things a bit and could end up having interesting personality combinations.

Turn 5:

Mayard: "I uh, tried to get a job as a tax reviewer to help the family. And then I lost track of time..."

He's not buying it:

Oh No!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Mah: "Have some soup Mayard."

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Phew, saved by the old lady. Curse your emotions, always getting in the way of your ability to lie.

The smell of the soup makes you remember that you are hungry, Your hunger bar appears! If it reaches 0 you'll probabley just drop dead.

Pa: "Alright, I know your lying but we have more important things to talk about."
Mayard: "Huh?"
Pa: "Winter is coming soon. We are worried that we won't have enough food to feed us all. Me and your Mother have decided that it's about time you left home. Your brother and sister both left at your age so it's both fair and practical that you leave home and make your own way in the world. You have some money and a home thanks to Olof so we are sure you will be able to survive."
Mah: "I'm sorry Mayard, but i'm sure you see why we have to do this."

Oh wow, your being kicked out.

It seems I have severely over estimated your ability to make a system interesting from an RP perspective. What about, you know, make personality traits affect their PERSONALITY? Courageous makes the less likely to run away, loyal makes them less likely to betray whoever they are loyal to, and not have a gamey system of magical mind control but actual have them be PEOPLE who if they do, do what you say due to an actual motivation? [/rant]
Wow, you posted in someone else's game just to insult their ability to make the game interesting? Why not just... you know.. stop playing? Seems like a dick move. He's only done a few updates so far, we don't even know the rules governing the system yet for god's sake.

If you can do a better job, go make your own game. I'm enjoying this so far and hope your post doesn't cause Lincoln to lose interest.

For my part, I suggest we quietly pack our things and ask mother if we can still visit from time to time. Accept it, Mayard is a man now and its time for him to go out on his own. Also this will make experimentation much easier in isolation.

I'm mainly pissed about him abandoning his other two games. This subforum has to many, to similar games to this one right now.

Eh, the sense of entitlement you seem to have is staggering. Nobody is paying him to do this, he is putting time into them voluntarily. You have no right to free entertainment and no right to be pissed off when free entertainment is removed. People make games like this because they enjoy doing it, not for Armok's enjoyment, and they have no obligation to continue them at all.

Turn 7: What do you mean we skipped a number?

Mayard: "Can I still come back sometimes?
Mah: "Of course, we st-"
Pa: "Just don't make a habit out of it, and don't expect free meals either."
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Looks like Dug and Eralis heard what you were talking about. Mah goes over to explain what is going on.

You feel that soup replenish your hunger bar.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Pa: "Good luck out there son."
Mayard: "You too Pa."

You would normaly be crying, but this is actually pretty great, now that you aren't tied down it will probabley be much easier to practice your dark arts. It would probabley be best to slip out now, leave the kids to your parents and get back to that heart as soon as possible.

Say your goodbyes and return to the cottage.

Create a spirit and bind it to the bones. The spirit should be Loyal to you and Determined.

Seems like a solid plan.  +1

Turn 8: When poop gets real.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You put the firewood and axe down and leave.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

It's gotten a bit darker since you you arrived. At least you can still see.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Ahh, shack sweet shack. Well lets get started with this necromancy already.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You start by drawing the required patterns on the ground in the blood from the heart.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Then you arrange the bones in the center.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

You begin the unholy chants, the circle begins to glow.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Oh my god, your actualy doing it, the essence of the spirit has appeared, it is time to shape it as you will.

The heart contained: 24 Spiritual Energy. Distribute them amongst the 3 attributes:

Constitution: Each point added will give the spirit 1 extra health on top of the base health of it's body.

Strength: Each point will allow the spirit to use melee weapons more effectively.

Dexterity: Each point will allow the spirirt to use ranged weapons more effectively. Also increases the spirit's chance to block with melee weapons.

You must also pick a primary and a secondary word.
These words will effect the spirits behaviour and may give a bonus to some stats. Unless you concentrate your thoughts perfectly there is a chance that an extra word will be added.
