Trade Depot Difficulties

So, I was just visited by elves and after they set up on my trade depot I decided to slaughter them with my military, they were all killed but now I can't find out how to take their items.

I think the items should become yours.

But deconstruct the depot and your dwarfs should come and pick up all the goodies

You might have "forbid on death" turned on, in which case you'll have to reclaim them (d - b - c)
