Six Speargoblins, one Marksgoblin.
« on: February 03, 2012, 10:49:57 am »

I have just captured the aforementioned goblins, and they're sitting in my stockpile disarmed and covered in the blood of my livestock. They killed the male of my breeding pair of Llamas, a horse, two cavys and a duck. I have no military to speak of, and no high places to throw them from. What, praytell, shall be their fate?

Save them to feed the war dragons.

Inevitable, who cares. Now an onion...

I have no magma :'( Oh how I wish I had but a single 7/7 of magma, but alas...

There are plenty of badgers on my map, (annoyingly so, unfortunately, as every 5 seconds i get Job cancelled: Badgerspam messages. Shall we see how many Badgers it takes to gnaw down a single Goblin?

Yes.

Trap them, then let them loose in an arena with the gobbos.

Or replace them whit elves.

How do you kill caged goblins? I've got five sitting in my entrance and they haven't been moved to animal stockpiles. I told my military to kill them and they stood around the cages a bit before going away.

Building them a prison until you can build something dastardly and vicious enough should be adequate for now ;)

Build a big, special house. Release the goblins into the house:

Congratulations, you and your dwarves can now watch an exciting reality show about seven goblin POW who are forced to live together while locked somewhere inside of a dwarven fortress, while attempting to overcome a series of unique challenges. Each season, eliminate one contestant. Once only a single goblin remains, let him loose near the edge of the map.

MUST...DIG...DEEPER

And if no magma is found even at bottom-most level, drop the goblins down the hole. Should give them plenty of time to ponder on life and petunias before the earth rises to give them a hug.

Release them in the caverns to take their chances. Pity you've already disarmed them, they might have been useful for thinning out some of the more dangerous wildlife.

I think Toady's confusing interface better simulates the experience of a bunch of disorganised drunken dwarves running a fort.

Chain them in the caverns to feed the forgotten beasties.
