Looks good, although perhaps something could be done differently with the fuel to reduce the huge number of lines going right across everything, and a section of magma-safe metals would also be handy. There's a couple of spelling mistakes; mainly the ores, which are spelt right in the bar making reactions and steel I noticed, but that's not a major problem with it still beign a work in progress.

Thanks.

Magma safety indication is not a bad idea.

With fuel, I prefer keeping the lines to something like putting a black border around reactions requiring fuel. I can increase the distance between the rows so there is more room and clarity with the lines. I was also thinking about making them fatter and paler.

What do you guys think about the size of that diagram? I can reduce the text size from 14 to 8, for example, and scale the rest appropriately. But then the text will look more blocky.

I think it looks quite sharp overall.

Mine won't be interactive, but all the industries will be in sections. And you can trace materials to finished products. Like if you see an ore, you can trace what metals can be made from it, and what those metals can be used for.

Yeah, I think that it's probably best to get it laid out before doing anything else with it. Would joining it with the quickstart quide flowchart be a good idea to help newer players? The existing flowchart's pretty good but it'd be useful to go into more detail about what every step needs.

I dislike that flowchart because it implies that you need mud to start a farm, which is a real problem for many players.

Yeah, I remember trying to irrigate a loam floor in my first fortress because of that  ::)
