That large sard has nothing to do with the mood - it was probably sitting in the workshop from some dwarf thinking about decorating it and then changing ther mind (and then never got restockpiled because of this bug).

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

A weaponsmith made a beautiful scene of cowering elves and goblins getting hit from two different stones, decorated with gems and dragon bone on a hammer... made of feather tree wood.
Threw it in the stockpile, then ran out the front door to fight goblins, and immediately got turned into McPincushion.
So not only was he legendary for all of about five minutes, his legacy was a weapon that I had to lock up until I got a sheriff because the legendary military dwarves kept trying to grab it.

I once got the Heavenly Alliance, the perfect red zirconium. It had an image of the Heavenly Alliance, the perfect red zirconium carved on it.

My current fortress got a diorite statue, then an iron crown with bands of iron, and finally a diorite coffin with a picture of the iron crown (in stone).  On the bright side, I'll be able to use the coffin for whoever dies first in my fort, and the statue is on display just outside the original meeting hall.  Not sure about the crown;  I'm hoping I can encrust it with gems ... with my luck I won't be able to have my head dwarf wear it (though I haven't checked yet).

Doesn't quite have the ring of heroics to it...

I consider savescumming for craft artifacts a waste of time, you hardly get anything useful anyway

currently I have a flute, bracelet and figurine being useless, but also a shield and a coffin

Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.

oooooooooooooooooooh, If you want to kill your fort do that. just punch at random at your keyboard to see what happens. Should be fun to watch the results as you unintentionally pull the doomsday lever without first pulling the safe my day lever

Okay, here goes:

(From another fortress that crashed and burned): Native gold mechanisms.
From my current fortress: An oaken scepeter decorated with spikes of turnkey bone.
A Ceder crown that is hung with bands of jaguar leather
An iron bucket with a picture of a fish on it
And a shark leather braise (whatever that is) that menaces with spike of water buffalo leather.
A glass vial that menaces with spikes of green glass and has: An image of whatshisname the god of chaos and destruction in green glass, and image of whatshisname the god of chaos and destruction in iron, and image of three prickle berries in green glass.

All but the leather thing were possesed moods, so I didn't even get a legendary glass maker or wood crafter for my toubles.

Strange moods suck >:(

Wooden cup, same deal. Bonus: the goblins are laughing. This artork relates to the defeat of <dwarven civ> and looting of <fort> by <goblin horde>.

Another one: turkey bone armor stand, decorated with more bone and an image of the God of Death as a skeletal male dwarf, striking a triumphant pose. A nice reminder to my Mayor in regards to stupid mandates (like a crap ton of figurines - basically a luck based mission) and their consequences.

Certainly you could argue that DF is a lot like The Sims, only... you know... with more vomit and decapitation.
If you launch a wooden mine cart towards the ocean at a sufficient speed, you can have your entire dwarf sail away in an ark.

Wow, was that a fell mood? I mean, you can't usually butcher your jailor... ;D

This is a Tin Shoe. All Craftdwarfship is of the highest quality. It is studded with Tin.

Only metal I had (actually had to build 3 workshops - wood furnace, smelter & metalsmith - to not have him go nuts).

Worst bit was it was a possession.

Oh well, at least I didn't lose my best Axedorf. Now to continue the hunt for Iron.

It's a dwarf.  Their natural habitat is "trapped on the wrong side of a wall".

Flinging children halfway across the map to land in magma is good, wholesome fun, but extramarital reproduction?  Why, that's just unseemly!
