If you are looking for a desktop, just find a trusted and nerd friend to build your computer. It worked well for me :D

Origin PC.

Someone had to come along and replace the old Alienware brand name after they got bought out.
considering its the same guys :P

True, didn't know that detail, it is some of the same guys, who moved on after Alienware became a subsidiary of Dell Computer.

Can't fault them for it...

I just recently built my own PC around 3 months ago, cost me around £900. Now regretting cause I need that damn money)

- P6X58D-E Asus "Xtreme Design" Motherboard
- Intel Core i7 960 (8 CPUs), 3.20GHz
- 12GB Ram
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti
- 650W PSU
- 500GB HDD
- Windows 7
- Cooler Master Chassis
- Four Internal blue-light fans (Which don't do shit, apparently. I just use my desktop foot-tall fan instead)
- DVD-Rom

This rig runs not only Skyrim on full graphics, but also supports live-streaming, iTunes and Firefox running all at once. On high resolution. I have yet to find its limits :/.

Some might say that's overkill...
*Puts on shades*
I say it's abouttime.

YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit;
Oh, and my Dwarf Fortress of 100+ Dwarves runs at 221 fps. \o/
