By Unreal World, did you mean the RPG?

For secret agency management, Evil Genius might be right up your street.

Both are great.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R is a pretty good game, when the fucking engine it's build on doesn't crash.

It is a hard game, and you will die over and over.

if you are looking for survial one try Survior:the ultimate challange(nothing to do with tv series) not sure if free or not.

for space, although no crew managemnt(yet! next installment has it) X3 is probs what you are looking for for a space sim.(got all 3 for $24 on steam)

Tried to hard to get into that game, but I just find it way too overwhelming, even for a DF player. How did you get over the obscene learning curve?

For space living sims, there's also the Mars Simulation Project. It's got the complexity and detail level of a DF-like simulation, but it's much more hands-off. You have some input as to what your colonists do, but much of it is automated.

Haven and Hearth is a multiplayer wilderness survival and the same developers are making a game called Salem in the same genre.
