Hello!

This is a topic i merged a while ago with all my topics in search of a game. Its been out for ages, but im sort of reviving it.

Wilderness Survival Game Research

Hello there!

I really love wilderness survival, i enjoy watching man vs wild and such, and i loved playing Unreal world.
I'm searching for a wilderness survival game wich isnt Unreal World.
UW is good, but.. i dunno, after some time, when you have a cottage, traps everywhere and even some guys living with you in their own cottage, it gets boring.
So yea, i'm basically searching for a game where;
-You most survive wilderness
-Eat, Drink, Sleep and such
-Build basic shelters against the weather and such
-Make rudimentary tools to make more advanced shelters (or something like that)
-Make rudimentary hunting devices to be able to hunt bigger game
-And all what is about surviving a entirely wild world

Zombie survival games dont count Cataclysm and Zomboid included!

Like i say, i played Unreal World, wich i still find kinda cool, but i'm looking for something else.
And please, by armok's sake PLEASE don't mention minecraft...

-Minecraft (wich isnt really based on survival)

-Fallout: New Vegas hardcore mode (i cant play modded, as i have it on 360)
-Deus/Robinson Requiem
-Lost in Blue etc.
-Notrium (downloaded and tryied, didnt trip alot)
-Warcraft 3 mods (Checked it out, scenario file not compatible with my game for some reason)
-Cataclysm Roguelike (Already played, im serching for a Wilderness survival game, not for a zombie survival game (be it realistic or not))
-S.T.A.LK.E.R.
-Survivor: The Ultimate Challenge
-Haven and Heart


Games Proposed that i enjoyed;
-Last Winter (but it lack development, and the dev isnt working on it much (he's in the army and is still on service. Canadian didnt return from irak and such yet...))

 Hello!

Well, basically, im looking for a spacestation/spaceship life simulator.
I already know SS13, but its too..hmm... Animated for me.
I mean, im looking for something a little like dwarf fortress, but in a spaceship.
Like, you got a crew, and gotta take care of it. You can travel, explore and all that.
I already know Shores of Hazeron too, and i LOVE this game, but sadly it f**ked up my PC 2 times so i no longer take the risk of playing it (it will be useless to say "oh, try this and try patching that", thats exactly thoses advices that broke my PC several times(lets just dont talk 'bout it...))

Well, i dont think i have anything more to say....
Huh.. Yea, huh, maybe like you can design your own ship and all this too.

Well, thats it i think, throw ideas now gentlemens/ladies!

Secret Agency Management game

I'm looking for a game where you manage a secret agency, with your own fundings and stuff, operate a base of operation, manage it, manage Agents,
aquire missions troughout the world (optional)/aquire missions for your agents and all sort of awesome stuff like that.

Its optional but i'd like it open-world-ish, where you could not only do all the above, but also walk around the world, do missions yourself etc.

It can be roguelike, i dont mind, but i'd prefer a game "with graphics" if you know what i mean (no offense toward DF or anything)

In a list;
-Managment of the Agency
     -Recruit and mange your Agents
     -Find Missions for your Agents
     -Find ameliorations and such for your hideout and Agency (or something like that...)
     -Manage the Morale of your agents, their equipments/speciality etc.
     (anything that is similar or better than the guild managment in Assassins Creed Brotherhood)
-Open world stuff (optional)
    -Find missions around an open-world (by open world i mean somethin like Elders Scrolls/Fallout series), level up and such
    -Being able to call for your agents when you need them in a gunfight or things like that
    -Being able to bring a squad with you wherever you want (this and the option above being if your Agents are avaible e.i not in a mission)

I know this can sounds very specific, and its ok if i don't find anything that match even a little bit what i'm searching for....

-Liberal Crime Squad (if i dont put it there people will surely propose it)
-AC: Brotherhood
-Silent Storm (it isnt really like what i'm looking for, but still worth putting there)
-The Agency (I heard of this game, but its development stopped... Its sad really.)
-Floor 13
-Net Gain (looks interesting, might take a look someday)
-Beyond Protocol (looks a bit like a sci-fi RTS to me, can someone clarify?)

It is a hard game, and you will die over and over.

AFAIK there's only one Unreal World game....

I would like trying Evil Genius, but it seems i cant find any free download....
I apparently have to buy it from amazon and such....
God, if only i had any talents in making Roguelikes.. I would really do an Agency Management Roguelike

if you are looking for survial one try Survior:the ultimate challange(nothing to do with tv series) not sure if free or not.

for space, although no crew managemnt(yet! next installment has it) X3 is probs what you are looking for for a space sim.(got all 3 for $24 on steam)

Tried to hard to get into that game, but I just find it way too overwhelming, even for a DF player. How did you get over the obscene learning curve?

Ah, suprising enough, i just found it on steam
only ten bucks, will put i on my wish-list (didnt have weekly allocation yet, and i brought Jagged Alliance BiA not too long ago, so i might have to wait for my father to use his credit card again :/) and see for it later!

EDIT: hey, i did research for Starbase life Sim, but didnt fin anything. i keep falling on Sim Starbase, but im not sure its what you guys are talking about.
I need light on this subject; is Sim Starbase the game you guys call Starbase Life Sim?
