By that I mean your ears acclimatize to it and you can begin the actual appreciation in earnest. Up until that point it is largely an assaulting piece of music, or at least that's how it seemed me. It's just that after the tenth minute the "oh god what am I listening to" effect wears off.

Mind you, I still couldn't tell you where one song ends and the other begins, but still.

I like me some Floyd. Not my favorite of their songs, though. 7.5/10.

Here's one song from the movie I liked quite a bit better than the album equivalent.

The link was blocked in my country, but thanks to the magic of Youtube's search function, I've managed to find another video and listen to the song.
The song is not bad. I wouldn't listen to that every day, though.
