An answer beyond "It just does" or "Because my friends don't like it" would probably be more appropriate.

Mainly it's because rap is the antithesis of singing, I don't like the aesthetic it gives the music, and because gangster culture.

Also, since I'm posting again, 8/10. Kinda repetitive, but man that rhythm is awesome!

Melodic lyrics are not a prerequisite to good music, you can have rap/hip hop beats without the lyrics, and disliking a genre of music because of the people that listen to it is like disliking a country because of the people that live in it.

7/10 The chorus section is... like a bad Styx parody. Which is quite an accomplishment, because I'm pretty sure no one even knew who Styx was when that album was released.

No. I'm pretty neutral about most music, can't stand rap, and don't much like country or pop.

Even old time rap? Like, the early rap days. And there can be some non-gangster like rap. Such as Atmosphere, they're stuff is deep.
