I had a massive migrant wave this morning in my latest fortress, a tropical volcano outpost. Among them was a peasant with a missing left leg. Absolutely useless, I figured. But just for boredom's sake, I did a little research.

This particular peasant was not only one of the first creatures legitimately born in this world, but he bit, wrestled, and punched Minkot Daggerages the crooked creature and Ishlum Judgebreaches the Free Controllers the Giant both to death.

Urist Labordelight, "Honored Guest" has been assigned a bed in the classiest room in the fort. I think he's earned his pension.

Give him a crutch to get around on, and then make him an inspirational figure by assigning him to be the fortress Champion or something.
