Let's assume for a moment that it isn't Deja Vu and it's really "visions from the future":

Did those visions ever provide you with a lottery number? Early warning about dangerous situations? Hints as to what to buy and sell in the stock market? No?

Then forget about the whole matter. Your visions are not too relevant if there's no practical use for them, are they?

But you can get all metaphorical and impose your actions with new meaning, all the while going: "WowoOoOooOOoooOO!"

Mine did but it was only part of the vision not the event and that was a year ago when I didnt know what the hell I was getting and what it might be for... so I forgot it/burried it deep.
I dont play the lotery or stocks or politics so why would I get a message about them?

Once dreamed I was taking a test.  A few months later, I ended up taking a test with the exact question I dreamed of... Put the answer I dreamed that I had put down, got it wrong.  Very dissapoint.

I dreamed of my algebra final a week or so in advance. In my dream I failed miserably. In reality I failed very slightly, and passed by a decent margin on the retest.

I had a vision of the future wherein I was weaving baskets. Hasn't happened yet, but I'm waiting for it because I've got some nice knickknacks to stuff in a basket and forget about.

So if I dream myself avoiding a car by jumping away, I should take the slight deviant error of prophetic judgement into account, and thus save my life by running into the car whilst punching the windscreen?

Well, there wasn't actually any error in my dream, as I hadn't dreamt if the answer was correct, and that does bring into why we even bother with prophecies that cause us to think we should/must do something, without knowing wher or not we are doing something that will have positive results **cough cough end of the world lets burn everything since it will all get destroyed anyways cough cough**

A couple months ago I had a dream where I went to the near-ish indian casiso, and kept finding piles of money everywhere.

I decided not to test it for prophetic accuracy; I hope that wasn't a mistake.

you'll always find piles of money in a casino, problem is its most likly sombody elses money; also was having those found richs dreams, I found a $5 bill from 1988 in my couch the last time I went looking for money... moral : you dont find what your not searching for.

Uh, that's an entirely untrue moral.  I find shit I'm not looking for all the time.  Which sucks, because I'm not looking for it.  Funnily enough, the only stuff I've ever had to search for was stuff I couldn't find.  You know why?  Because I couldn't find it.  It's the same reason everything you're looking for is always in the last place you look.

While not dreams, this reminded me of a couple of experiences that I've had in the past that I've never been able to quite explain.

The first was when I was still fairly young - twelve I believe.
I was walking along one of the paths along a road towards the town center when I felt a strange urge to cross the road - that was at the time of day fairly quiet - to the other side, even though I had no reason to do so at the time.
Twenty seconds later, a small van came screeching along the road, swerving as it went up over the curb as the driver had lost control - straight through where I would have been if I hadn't crossed over - before slamming into a car coming the other way.

The second thing was when I entered a constest for fun that was determined by a random draw that I had no real interest in, yet as the process of it being carried out was announced I felt a strange mixed sensation of anxiety and anticipation that i've never felt before, followed by hearing my name.

The first saved my life quite possibly, the second just sticks in memory thanks to it being so odd. While for the most part I put little stock in visions and the like, I won't rule the possibility of it out entirely.
