Looking for good games to buy
« on: January 28, 2012, 10:17:43 pm »

Title is self explanatory. I'm currently leaning towards Fallout:New Vegas, The Sims Medieval, Battlefield 3 and Skyrim. How good are these titles? I want to know before I buy them.

Fallout New Vegas is great, get Skyrim too.  Sims Medieval, it's ok, not really a favorite, never got Battlefield 3, so I can't rate them.

Skyrim has more potential for funny antics, and hilarious fails.  I've found that it's more fun when you have friends with you to laugh at all the weird ways you're going through your adventures.

You could probably hold off on Skyrim for awhile unless you're dying to play it. It'll only get better and cheaper as time goes on.

New Vegas is a great choice, I'll be playing through it again soon-ish. It's the kind of game I love to get since my gaming budget is very tight: lots of replay, loads of mods. I've got hundreds of hours in it.

I also really love Skyrim, but I'd agree with waiting a bit for prices to drop. It'll be cheaper AND better.

Buy Victoria II instead! Pick a shitty backwater country circa 1833, and turn it into a SUPER POWER!
