What font is DF?

Not exactly a gameplay question, but what the hey. What font does vanilla DF use? I want to make myself a thoughts screen.

Unless you're using TrueType mode (which has some annoying bugs that can cause the game to crash), Dwarf Fortress doesn't use any actual known font - it uses one of several special tilesets which resemble the traditional text-mode (Codepage 437) font present in most video cards, the exact one depending on what you've configured in data/init/init.txt.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Not sure, though it reminds me of Fixedsys.

Tilesets use different fonts, by the way. You could just make yourself a Phoebus or a Ironhand style thoughts screen, as they have the font provided (in a png file).
